Porté en couronne pour orner les chevelures lors de cérémonies pendant l’Antiquité, le monde végétal intègre au fil des siècles et des évolutions technologiques le vêtement. Quelle qu’en soit sa peinture, botanique ou fantaisiste, il est finement lié à l’histoire de l’étoffe. Pour la saison du printemps et en écho à l’exposition Préraphaélisme—Itinéraires féminins, le premier étage du bassin fait éclore une mosaïque de jardins textiles. Worn as a wreath to adorn the hair during ceremonies in antiquity, the plant world has, over the centuries and through technological advancements, become an integral part of clothing. Regardless of whether it is depicted in a botanical or fanciful style, it is intricately linked to the history of the fabric. For the spring season and in response to the exhibition “Pre-Raphaelite: Female Itineraries,” the first floor of the Bassin brings to life a mosaic of textile gardens. Für die Frühlingssaison und als Anklang an die Ausstellung „Präraffaelismus? Weibliche Reisende“ entfaltet sich im ersten Stock des Bassin ein Mosaik aus textilen Gärten. In de oudheid werd het als krans gedragen om het haar te versieren tijdens plechtigheden, is de plantenwereld in de loop der eeuwen en door technologische ontwikkelingen steeds meer in de kleding geïntegreerd. Of de afbeelding nu botanisch of fantasierijk is, ze is nauw verweven met de geschiedenis van de stof. Voor het lenteseizoen en in navolging van de tentoonstelling „Prérafaélisme? Itinéraires féminins“ laat de eerste verdieping van het bassin een mozaïek van textieltuinen tot bloei komen.
