Pierre et Lumière – Saumur

A quelques mètres sous terre, à Saumur, les visiteurs peuvent découvrir un parc miniature peu commun : dans une ancienne carrière troglodytique, un sculpteur a reproduit traits pour traits des monuments du Val de Loire dans la pierre. Chaque œuvre est un hymne à la beauté et au travail des bâtisseurs. Cette exposition unique est le fruit du travail du sculpteur breton Philippe Cormand. Au total, il lui aura fallu trois ans pour réaliser toutes ces reproductions aux détails minutieux. Le parcours de visite fait découvrir une vingtaine de lieux sculptés jusqu’aux plus petits détails, parfois directement dans la paroi. C’est, pour tous les publics, une promenade pédagogique et artistique, un autre regard sur le patrimoine architectural d’Anjou et de Touraine.

A few meters underground in Saumur, visitors can discover an unusual miniature park: in a former troglodytic quarry, a sculptor has reproduced Loire Valley monuments in stone, line for line. Each work is a hymn to beauty and to the work of the builders. This unique exhibition is the work of Breton sculptor Philippe Cormand. It took him a total of three years to produce all these meticulously detailed reproductions. The tour takes visitors on a journey of twenty or so locations, sculpted down to the finest detail, sometimes directly into the wall. It's an educational and artistic stroll for all ages, offering a different perspective on the architectural heritage of Anjou and Touraine.

Einige Meter unter der Erde in Saumur können die Besucher einen ungewöhnlichen Miniaturpark entdecken: In einem ehemaligen Höhlensteinbruch hat ein Bildhauer die Bauwerke des Loiretals Strich für Strich in Stein nachgebildet. Jedes Werk ist eine Hymne an die Schönheit und die Arbeit der Baumeister. Diese einzigartige Ausstellung ist das Ergebnis der Arbeit des bretonischen Bildhauers Philippe Cormand. Insgesamt benötigte er drei Jahre, um alle diese detailgetreuen Nachbildungen anzufertigen. Der Rundgang durch die Ausstellung führt zu etwa zwanzig Orten, die bis ins kleinste Detail, manchmal direkt in die Wand, gemeißelt wurden. Es handelt sich um einen pädagogischen und künstlerischen Spaziergang für alle Altersgruppen, der einen anderen Blick auf das architektonische Erbe von Anjou und Touraine ermöglicht.

Het kostte hem in totaal drie jaar om al deze minutieus gedetailleerde reproducties te maken. De rondleiding neemt bezoekers mee op een reis langs een twintigtal plaatsen die tot in het kleinste detail zijn gebeeldhouwd, soms rechtstreeks in de muur. Het is een educatieve en artistieke wandeling voor alle leeftijden, die een andere kijk biedt op het architecturale erfgoed van Anjou en Touraine.
