Musée d'Ethnographie – Bordeaux

Situé en centre ville, sur le site de "la Victoire", le Musée d’ethnographie a été créé suite à la fondation de "l’Institut colonial", en 1894, sur la proposition du Professeur A. Le Dantec (médecin de la Marine) et sur l’initiative du Doyen Pitres.

The collection of the Museum of Ethnography, which brings together about 8000 to 10,000 items, offers a great heritage and disciplinary interest and a look at a university and regional history related to the national set. In addition, further ethnographic objects (most of which is Asian), the MEB maintains a fund of 12,000 photographs, about 8,000 shots on plate-glass partly available on our online library. Finally, the museum houses a documentary and bibliographic old fund.

Das im Stadtzentrum auf dem Gelände "La Victoire" gelegene Ethnografische Museum wurde nach der Gründung des "Institut colonial" im Jahr 1894 auf Vorschlag von Professor A. Le Dantec (Marinearzt) und auf Initiative von Dekan Pitres gegründet.

Het Museum voor Etnografie, gelegen in het stadscentrum, op de site van "la Victoire", werd opgericht na de oprichting van het "Koloniaal Instituut" in 1894, op voorstel van professor A. Le Dantec (marine dokter) en op initiatief van decaan Pitres.

Situado en el centro de la ciudad, en el emplazamiento de "la Victoire", el Museo de Etnografía se creó tras la fundación del "Instituto Colonial", en 1894, a propuesta del profesor A. Le Dantec (médico de la Marina) y por iniciativa del decano Pitres.

Situato nel centro della città, sul sito de "la Victoire", il Museo di Etnografia è stato creato in seguito alla fondazione dell'"Istituto Coloniale", nel 1894, su proposta del prof. Le Dantec (medico della Marina) e su iniziativa del decano Pitres.
