Moulin de Candau – Castétis

A Castétis, village sur la route d'Orthez, le Moulin de Candau est un moulin à eau du XVIème siècle appartenant à l'ancien château de Candau. Il a traversé les siècles en écrasant le blé pour la population locale jusqu'en 1958. 50 ans après, il est totalement restauré et moud de nouveau du blé. Une micro-centrale électrique a été intégrée et fournit de l'énergie propre au moulin. En complément, sur place, un musée d'outils anciens du moulin. Une scierie battante hydraulique est en cours de restauration. Le moulin participe à la protection de la biodiversité de la rivière en entretenant celle-ci.

In Castétis, a village on the road to Orthez, the Moulin de Candau is a 16th century water mill belonging to the former château de Candau. It crossed the centuries crushing wheat for the local population until 1958. 50 years later, it has been completely restored and is grinding wheat again. A micro power station has been integrated and provides clean energy to the mill. In addition, there is a museum of old mill tools on site. A hydraulic sawmill is being restored. The mill participates in the protection of the biodiversity of the river by maintaining it.

In Castétis, einem Dorf auf dem Weg nach Orthez, befindet sich die Moulin de Candau, eine Wassermühle aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, die zum ehemaligen Schloss von Candau gehörte. Sie hat die Jahrhunderte überdauert und bis 1958 Weizen für die lokale Bevölkerung zermahlen. 50 Jahre später wurde sie vollständig restauriert und mahlt wieder Weizen. Ein Mikrokraftwerk wurde integriert und versorgt die Mühle mit sauberer Energie. Zusätzlich gibt es vor Ort ein Museum mit alten Werkzeugen der Mühle. Ein hydraulisches Schlagsägewerk wird derzeit restauriert. Die Mühle trägt zum Schutz der Artenvielfalt des Flusses bei, indem sie diesen pflegt.

In Castétis, een dorp op de weg naar Orthez, is de Moulin de Candau een 16e-eeuwse watermolen van het voormalige Château de Candau. Het heeft de eeuwen overleefd door tarwe te malen voor de plaatselijke bevolking tot 1958. 50 jaar later is het volledig gerestaureerd en wordt er opnieuw tarwe gemalen. Een micro-energiecentrale is geïntegreerd en levert schone energie aan de fabriek. Bovendien is er ter plaatse een museum met oud molengereedschap. Een hydraulische zagerij wordt momenteel gerestaureerd. De molen neemt deel aan de bescherming van de biodiversiteit van de rivier door deze te onderhouden.

Ha sobrevivido a los siglos moliendo trigo para la población local hasta 1958. 50 años después, ha sido completamente restaurada y vuelve a moler trigo. Se ha integrado una microcentral eléctrica que proporciona energía limpia al molino. Además, hay un museo de herramientas de molino antiguas en el lugar. Actualmente se está restaurando un aserradero hidráulico. El molino participa en la protección de la biodiversidad del río mediante su mantenimiento.

È sopravvissuto ai secoli, macinando il grano per la popolazione locale fino al 1958. 50 anni dopo, è stato completamente restaurato e torna a macinare il grano. È stata integrata una microcentrale elettrica che fornisce energia pulita al mulino. Inoltre, in loco è presente un museo di vecchi attrezzi del mulino. Attualmente è in corso il restauro di una segheria idraulica. Il mulino partecipa alla tutela della biodiversità del fiume attraverso la sua manutenzione.
