À Castétis, l'exploitation Lait p'tits béarnais élève ses animaux avec soin. Le bien être animal et le respect de l'environnement sont au cœur de leurs préoccupations pour vous proposer des produits de qualité issus de l'agriculture biologique dans le respect du régime alimentaire des animaux, ainsi les vaches herbivores ne mangent que de l'herbe. La ferme propose à la vente : des fromages au lait cru affinés, à pâte molle, à pâte dure et à pâte cuite, des produits laitiers frais issus du lait de vaches Normandes, yaourt, lait cru, et des confitures de lait. Mais aussi de la charcuterie de porcs noirs et de la viande de porcs et de boeuf, sur réservation. Découvrez les animaux présents (vaches et boeufs, mouton, volailles, cochons, ane et cheval) et des panneaux explicatifs sur le fonctionnement de la ferme en agroécologie. Fanny and Jean-Baptiste run the farm which is close to Orthez, in the Béarn and will happily share their passion for their profession with visitors. They take great pleasure in explaining the day to day life of cows and calves, along with the nature of the soil, plant life and ecosystems. The demonstration of the working sheep dogs and hay making is well worth seeing and there is also a 20 minute long film which explains the history of the farm and reveals how milk is made. Finally, the farm shop has a large range of products for sale including regional cheeses, soft cheese, mature cheese, yoghurts and other dairy products.

Podrán encontrarse con ovejas, cerdos gascones, gallinas gasconas, así como con el burro, el caballo y los bueyes béarnais. También podrán ver las salas de maduración y degustar los quesos (quesos de pasta blanda con aros de madera o frotados con Jurançon, queso de pasta cocida tipo gruyère, tomme de los Pirineos, pero también yogures, leche cruda, leche condensada). Il benessere degli animali e il rispetto per l'ambiente sono al centro delle loro preoccupazioni, per cui possono offrirvi prodotti di qualità da agricoltura biologica che rispettano la dieta degli animali: le mucche erbivore mangiano solo erba. La fattoria vende: formaggi stagionati a latte crudo, formaggi a pasta molle, dura e cotta, latticini freschi prodotti con il latte delle mucche della Normandia, yogurt, latte crudo e marmellate di latte.
