EXPOSITION PERMANENTE : BÂTISSEURS DE NAVIRES : Jusqu'en 1987, Nantes a construit de grands navires. L'exposition Bâtisseurs de navires retrace les deux mille ans de cette histoire qui a profondément marqué la région. Tour à tour y sont abordés les principales évolutions techniques, les métiers de la navale, les conditions de travail des ouvriers et leurs combats syndicaux. On y parle aussi du fleuve, du port, du pont à transbordeur et des grandes mutations de l'île de Nantes. Outils, maquettes, films et sons restituent un univers bien particulier, celui des chantiers navals et de ses travailleurs et travailleuses.

PERMANENT EXHIBITION: SHIPBUILDERS: Until 1987, Nantes built great ships. The exhibition Shipbuilders retraces the two thousand years of this history which has deeply marked the region. The main technical evolutions, the naval trades, the working conditions of the workers and their union struggles are discussed in turn. It also talks about the river, the port, the ferry bridge and the major changes on the island of Nantes. Tools, models, films and sounds restore a very particular universe, that of the shipyards and its workers.

DAUERAUSSTELLUNG: SCHIFFSBAUER: Bis 1987 wurden in Nantes große Schiffe gebaut. Die Ausstellung Bâtisseurs de navires zeichnet die zweitausend Jahre dieser Geschichte nach, die die Region tiefgreifend geprägt hat. Abwechselnd werden die wichtigsten technischen Entwicklungen, die Berufe der Schiffbauindustrie, die Arbeitsbedingungen der Arbeiter und ihre gewerkschaftlichen Kämpfe behandelt. Auch der Fluss, der Hafen, die Fährbrücke und die großen Veränderungen auf der Île de Nantes werden thematisiert. Werkzeuge, Modelle, Filme und Töne geben eine ganz besondere Welt wieder, nämlich die der Werften und ihrer Arbeiter und Arbeiterinnen.

PERMANENTE TENTOONSTELLING: SCHEEPSBOUWERS: Tot 1987 werden in Nantes grote schepen gebouwd. De tentoonstelling Scheepsbouwers schetst de tweeduizend jaar van deze geschiedenis die een grote invloed heeft gehad op de regio. Achtereenvolgens worden de belangrijkste technische ontwikkelingen, de maritieme beroepen, de arbeidsomstandigheden van de werknemers en hun vakbondsstrijd besproken. Het gaat ook over de rivier, de haven, de pontjesbrug en de grote veranderingen op het eiland Nantes. Gereedschap, modellen, films en geluiden herscheppen een heel bijzondere wereld, die van de scheepswerven en hun arbeiders.

EXPOSICIÓN PERMANENTE: CONSTRUCCIÓN NAVAL: Hasta 1987, Nantes construyó grandes barcos. La exposición Los constructores navales recorre los dos mil años de esta historia que ha tenido un profundo impacto en la región. Se analizan sucesivamente los principales avances técnicos, los oficios navales, las condiciones laborales de los trabajadores y sus luchas sindicales. También habla del río, el puerto, el puente transbordador y los grandes cambios en la isla de Nantes. Herramientas, maquetas, películas y sonidos recrean un mundo muy especial, el de los astilleros y sus trabajadores.

MOSTRA PERMANENTE: COSTRUTTORI DI NAVI: fino al 1987, Nantes costruiva grandi navi. La mostra Shipbuilders ripercorre i duemila anni di questa storia che ha avuto un profondo impatto sulla regione. I principali sviluppi tecnici, i mestieri navali, le condizioni di lavoro degli operai e le loro lotte sindacali sono discussi a turno. Parla anche del fiume, del porto, del ponte dei traghetti e dei principali cambiamenti sull'isola di Nantes. Strumenti, modelli, filmati e suoni ricreano un mondo molto particolare, quello dei cantieri navali e dei suoi lavoratori.
