Description
La chapelle de l’Ayguerote est indissociable de l’ancien hôpital tarbais, le lieu possède un cachet monumental et raffiné. Aujourd’hui, seule, une salle d’exposition au- dessous de la chapelle, est ouverte au public, mais l’environnement architectural mérite une visite attentive. Fondé en conformité à une ordonnance de Louis XIV ce lieu était jadis un centre d’instruction catholique .Son extension entraîna la réalisation de cette belle chapelle dont le pavillon de façade fut transformé en 1729. Le clocheton en forme de dôme et le perron de pierre à double révolution et à la ferronnerie de grande qualité, donnent une ambiance particulière aux lieux : une vraie touche d’orfèvrerie urbaine.

The Ayguerote Chapel is inseparable from the old Tarbais hospital, the place has a monumental and refined character. Today, only an exhibition room below the chapel is open to the public, but the architectural environment deserves a careful visit. Founded in accordance with an ordinance of Louis XIV, this place was once a Catholic education centre, and its extension led to the construction of this beautiful chapel, whose façade pavilion was transformed in 1729. The dome-shaped bell tower and the double revolution stone porch with high quality ironwork, give a special atmosphere to the place: a real touch of urban goldsmithery.

Die Kapelle von Ayguerote ist untrennbar mit dem ehemaligen Krankenhaus von Tarbais verbunden. Der Ort besitzt ein monumentales und raffiniertes Flair. Heute ist nur noch ein Ausstellungsraum unterhalb der Kapelle für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich, aber die architektonische Umgebung verdient einen aufmerksamen Besuch. Der Ort wurde nach einem Erlass von Ludwig XIV. gegründet und war einst ein katholisches Bildungszentrum. Seine Erweiterung führte zum Bau dieser schönen Kapelle, deren Fassadenpavillon 1729 umgebaut wurde. Das kuppelförmige Glockentürmchen und die steinerne Freitreppe mit doppelter Drehung und hochwertigen Eisenarbeiten verleihen dem Ort eine besondere Atmosphäre: ein echter Hauch von städtischer Goldschmiedekunst.

De kapel van Ayguerote is onlosmakelijk verbonden met het oude ziekenhuis van Tarbes, de plaats heeft een monumentaal en verfijnd cachet. Tegenwoordig is alleen een tentoonstellingsruimte onder de kapel toegankelijk voor het publiek, maar de architectonische omgeving verdient een aandachtig bezoek. Deze plaats, gesticht op bevel van Lodewijk XIV, was ooit een centrum voor katholiek onderwijs en de uitbreiding ervan leidde tot de bouw van deze prachtige kapel, waarvan het voorpaviljoen in 1729 werd verbouwd. De koepelvormige klokkentoren en de stenen trap met dubbele revolutie en het hoogwaardige ijzerwerk geven de plaats een bijzondere sfeer: een echt vleugje stedelijke goudsmederij.

La capilla de Ayguerote es inseparable del antiguo hospital de Tarbes, el lugar tiene un caché monumental y refinado. En la actualidad, sólo está abierta al público una sala de exposiciones situada debajo de la capilla, pero el entorno arquitectónico merece una visita detenida. Fundado en virtud de un decreto de Luis XIV, este lugar fue en su día un centro de educación católica, y su ampliación dio lugar a la construcción de esta hermosa capilla, cuyo pabellón delantero fue transformado en 1729. El campanario en forma de cúpula y la escalera de piedra con su doble revolución y sus herrajes de alta calidad dan al lugar una atmósfera especial: un verdadero toque de orfebrería urbana.

La cappella Ayguerote è inseparabile dall'antico ospedale di Tarbes, il luogo ha un cachet monumentale e raffinato. Oggi è aperta al pubblico solo una sala espositiva sotto la cappella, ma l'ambiente architettonico merita una visita attenta. Fondato in base a un decreto di Luigi XIV, questo luogo era un tempo un centro di educazione cattolica, il cui ampliamento ha portato alla costruzione di questa bella cappella, il cui padiglione anteriore è stato trasformato nel 1729. Il campanile a forma di cupola e la scala in pietra con doppio giro e ferri di alta qualità conferiscono al luogo un'atmosfera speciale: un vero tocco di oreficeria urbana.
