Hôtel particulier de Preigne

Il est un peu plus tard réaménagé à la française ou à la parisienne avec des corps de logis disposés en U autour d'une cour d'honneur (place du Bâtonnier Louis Gonthier). A l'arrière, l'actuelle entrée du Palais de Justice donnant sur la place du docteur Braye est munie d'une façade de style maniériste des années 1620. La placette a été aménagée à la fin du XVIIIème siècle afin de donner plus de jour et de gaieté à la façade classique. Les fenêtres sont surmontées de frontons triangulaires coupés, autrefois ornés de fleurs de lys, répondant au grand fronton surmontant la porte d'entrée. Sa porte monumentale et ses vantaux sont inscrits dans l'inventaire des monuments historiques. It was later redesigned in the French or Parisian style with the main buildings arranged in a U-shape around a main courtyard (Place du Bâtonnier Louis Gonthier). At the back, the current entrance of the Law Courts giving onto the Dr. Braye square has a Mannerist style facade from the 1620s. The small square was arranged at the end of the 18th century in order to give more light and cheerfulness to the classical façade. The windows are surmounted by triangular pediments, once decorated with fleur-de-lis, responding to the large pediment over the front door. Its monumental door and its leaves are registered in the inventory of historical monuments. This private mansion is described in a heritage booklet "Belles demeures" available at the Tarascon Tourist Office.
