ÉGLISE SAINT-MARTIN – Dommartin-sur-Vraine

L'église paroissiale Saint Martin date des XVIème et XVIIème siècles. Le chœur et la chapelle funéraire d'Erard de Dommartin furent construits au début du XVIème siècle. La chapelle au nord du chœur fut quand à elle construite au début du XVIIème siècle puis la nef unique et le clocher entre 1755 et 1757. La chapelle funéraire qui ouvre sur le chœur est un élément de l'art de la première renaissance en Lorraine.

The parish church of Saint Martin dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries. The choir and the funeral chapel of Erard de Dommartin were built at the beginning of the 16th century. The chapel to the north of the choir was built at the beginning of the 17th century, then the single nave and the bell tower between 1755 and 1757. The funerary chapel which opens onto the choir is an element of the art of the first Renaissance in Lorraine.

Die Pfarrkirche Saint Martin stammt aus dem 16. und 17. Jahrhunderts. Der Chor und die Grabkapelle von Erard de Dommartin wurden Anfang des 16. Die Kapelle nördlich des Chors wurde Anfang des 17. Jahrhunderts erbaut, während das Hauptschiff und der Glockenturm zwischen 1755 und 1757 errichtet wurden. Die Grabkapelle, die sich zum Chor hin öffnet, ist ein Element der Kunst der Frührenaissance in Lothringen.

De kapel ten noorden van het koor werd in het begin van de 17e eeuw gebouwd, gevolgd door het enkele schip en de klokkentoren tussen 1755 en 1757. De grafkapel die uitkomt op het koor is een element van de vroege renaissancekunst in Lotharingen.
