Ancien Couvent des Carmes – Langon

Le couvent, établi au XIIIème siècle, existe jusqu'à la Révolution où il est alors vendu comme bien national. Au XIXème siècle, les bâtiments abritent l'école de garçons, puis un collège jusqu'en 1975, avant d'être transformé en centre socioculturel, le centre culturel des Carmes.

The convent, established in the 13th century, existed until the Revolution when it was sold as a national asset. In the 19th century, the buildings housed the boys' school, then a college until 1975, before being transformed into a socio-cultural centre, the cultural centre of the Carmelites.

Das Kloster wurde im 13. Jahrhundert gegründet und bestand bis zur Revolution, als es als nationales Gut verkauft wurde. Jahrhundert beherbergten die Gebäude die Jungenschule und anschließend bis 1975 ein Gymnasium, bevor sie in ein soziokulturelles Zentrum, das Centre Culturel des Carmes, umgewandelt wurden.

Het klooster, opgericht in de 13e eeuw, bestond tot de Revolutie, toen het werd verkocht als nationaal bezit. In de 19e eeuw was in de gebouwen een jongensschool gevestigd, daarna een middelbare school tot 1975, toen ze werden omgevormd tot een sociaal-cultureel centrum, het Centre Culturel des Carmes.

El convento, fundado en el siglo XIII, existió hasta la Revolución, cuando se vendió como propiedad nacional. En el siglo XIX, los edificios albergaron una escuela masculina, luego un instituto de enseñanza secundaria hasta 1975, cuando se transformaron en un centro sociocultural, el Centre Culturel des Carmes.

Il convento, fondato nel XIII secolo, è esistito fino alla Rivoluzione, quando è stato venduto come proprietà nazionale. Nel XIX secolo, gli edifici hanno ospitato una scuola maschile, poi una scuola secondaria fino al 1975, quando sono stati trasformati in un centro socio-culturale, il Centre Culturel des Carmes.
