LUMA Arles / Prix Dior de la Photographie et des Arts Visuels pour Jeunes Talents 2025 – 01-09-2025 – Arles

Créé en 2018 par Christian Dior Parfums, en partenariat avec LUMA Arles et l’ENSP Arles, le Prix Dior de la Photographie et des Arts Visuels pour Jeunes Talents est un concours international destiné aux étudiants et jeunes diplômés issus des plus prestigieuses écoles d’art et de photographie. Invités à répondre au thème « Face-to-Face », l’exposition de la 8ème édition du Prix, présente les travaux de dix lauréats sélectionnés par un jury d’experts, présidé par la photographe japonaise Yuriko Takagi et composé de Lebohang Kganye (Artiste sud-africaine pluridisciplinaire), Jean-Yves Jouannais (Critique d’art et écrivain), Maja Hoffmann (Fondatrice et Présidente Exécutive de LUMA Foundation et LUMA Arles), Simon Baker (Directeur de la Maison Européenne de la Photographie) et Peter Philips (Directeur de la création et de l’image du maquillage Dior).

Created in 2018 by Christian Dior Parfums, in partnership with LUMA Arles and ENSP Arles, the Dior Photography and Visual Arts Prize for Young Talent is an international competition for students and recent graduates from the most prestigious art and photography schools. Invited to respond to the theme "Face-to-Face", the exhibition for the 8th edition of the Prize presents the work of ten winners selected by a jury of experts, chaired by Japanese photographer Yuriko Takagi and including Lebohang Kganye (South African multidisciplinary artist), Jean-Yves Jouannais (Art critic and writer), Maja Hoffmann (Founder and Executive President of LUMA Foundation and LUMA Arles), Simon Baker (Director of Maison Européenne de la Photographie) and Peter Philips (Creative and Image Director, Dior make-up).

Der 2018 von Christian Dior Parfums in Partnerschaft mit LUMA Arles und der ENSP Arles ins Leben gerufene Prix Dior de la Photographie et des Arts Visuels pour Jeunes Talents ist ein internationaler Wettbewerb für Studierende und junge Absolventen der renommiertesten Kunst- und Fotografiehochschulen. Die Ausstellung der achten Ausgabe des Preises zeigt die Arbeiten von zehn Preisträgern, die von einer Expertenjury unter dem Vorsitz der japanischen Fotografin Yuriko Takagi und unter Mitwirkung von Lebohang Kganye (multidisziplinäre südafrikanische Künstlerin) ausgewählt wurden, Jean-Yves Jouannais (Kunstkritiker und Schriftsteller), Maja Hoffmann (Gründerin und geschäftsführende Vorsitzende der LUMA Foundation und LUMA Arles), Simon Baker (Direktor des Maison Européenne de la Photographie) und Peter Philips (Kreativ- und Bilddirektor von Dior Make-up).

De Dior Photography and Visual Arts Prize for Young Talent werd in 2018 in het leven geroepen door Christian Dior Parfums, in samenwerking met LUMA Arles en ENSP Arles. Het is een internationale wedstrijd voor studenten en pas afgestudeerden van de meest prestigieuze kunst- en fotografiescholen. De tentoonstelling van de 8e editie van de Prijs, die werd uitgenodigd om te reageren op het thema "Van aangezicht tot aangezicht", toont het werk van tien winnaars die werden geselecteerd door een jury van deskundigen, onder voorzitterschap van de Japanse fotografe Yuriko Takagi en bestaande uit Lebohang Kganye (een multidisciplinaire Zuid-Afrikaanse kunstenaar), Jean-Yves Jouannais (een kunstcriticus en schrijver), Maja Hoffmann (een Franse fotografe), en Maureen Dior (een Franse fotografe)kunstcriticus en schrijver), Maja Hoffmann (oprichter en uitvoerend voorzitter van LUMA Foundation en LUMA Arles), Simon Baker (directeur van het Maison Européenne de la Photographie) en Peter Philips (creatief en beelddirecteur van Dior make-up).
