Description

CES FÉROCES SOLDATS with Joël Egloff and Léo Egloff
In his latest novel, Joël Egloff reveals the poignant story of his father, who, like so many Alsatians and Moselle inhabitants, was forcibly conscripted into the German army during the Second World War. Accompanied by his son Léo, a guitarist, the two offer an intimate musical reading between memory and transmission. From baroque to contemporary repertoire, the son's music highlights the father's text about his father: a powerful allegory of the family bond in the face of the wounds of history. A gripping experience of emotions and memories. A book sale will be organized by the Confluence bookshop.
