Au départ de Saint-Martin-de-Lixy, point N°1, les habitants de ce village s’appellent : les Saint Martilixois. Prendre la direction de Tancon, ceux de ce village se nomment les Tanconnais, traversez le bourg, à l‘église, point N°2, admirez le fleurissement de ce village couronné « deux fleurs », prendre à gauche de l’église en direction du lieu-dit « Angelin », là, tournez à gauche et descendre jusqu’à Châteauneuf qui abrite les Castelnoviens, en passant par le bois. Vous arrivez sur la place du Château, près de l’église romane St Pierre St Paul, édifiée au XIIe siècle, fortement remaniée au XVe suite aux ravages de la guerre de Cent Ans. A gauche le château de la Magdeleine, on ne peut l’admirer que de l’extérieur, descendre par le chemin du Torail, point N°4 qui vous mène au coeur du village d’antiquaires. Prendre le temps d’une visite. Traversez la rivière le Sornin par le pont dit romain, au point N°6, vous êtes à Saint Maurice les Châteauneuf, partir sur votre gauche en direction du lieu-dit « Machin », point N°7, continuez jusqu’à « La Matrouille » point N°8, vous longez la vallée du Sornin, délectez-vous de ce paysage serin. La Matrouille est un ancien fief du XIIe siècle. Rejoindre « Popet », point N°9, « La Creuzette » N°10 puis entrez dans le bourg de Saint Edmond, jeune village puisque ce n’est qu’en 1878 que les Circuit de 78Km n°12 Boucle intercommunale Edmontiens, faisant alors partie de la commune de Saint Maurice les Châteauneuf décidèrent d’y construire une église. Obliquez à gauche en direction de « Foy Roland », point N°13, ravissant chemin qui vous mène sur la D295 en direction du point N°e « Le Bois Moulin » descendre dans la vallée et remontez, au stop, traversez la D8, l’emprunter un moment puis tournez à gauche en direction du N°14 « Le Four à Chaux ». Prendre le temps d’une visite sur ce site restauré il y a quelques années par un groupe de Castelnovimauriciens passionnés. Continuez jusqu’au lieu-dit « Bachet » N°15 puis « Boyer », point N°16 tournez à droite et empruntez la route qui vous mènera jusqu’aux « Noirards » en passant par « La Chenauderie » N°17. Traversez le Sornin puis la D987 et montez en direction du point N°19 « Le Bey », tournez à droite, traversez la D985. Puis continuez jusqu’au N°20 « vieux bourg » de Chassigny sous Dun, là, les habitants se nomment : les Chassignons. Prendre le temps d’une pause pour visiter cette ravissante chapelle romane restaurée elle aussi grâce à une association. Montez à travers le bois, le chemin forestier vous mène à « Dreuillien », point N°21 l’emprunter un moment et redescendre par « la Madone », de magnifiques points de vue s’offrent à votre regard : le village de Mussy sous Dun, dont les habitants s’appellent : les Mussiats. Arrivé au village, descendre jusqu’au viaduc,point N°22. Prendre un moment la route le long de la rivière 1ère catégorie le Mussy appréciée des nombreux pêcheurs du canton. Obliquez sur la gauche en direction de « Le Fournay »point N°23, poursuivre jusqu’à « La Combe » N°24 et montez jusqu’à « Dunet » N°25. Continuez à travers une forêt de douglas, c’est alors un paysage montagnard qui s’offre à vous. Descendre dans le village d’Anglure sous Dun, vous y rencontrerez les Anglurons. Prendre sur la gauche en direction de « Les Granges » N°26, continuez jusqu’au « Moulin de la Planche Simon » N°27 et remontez par la forêt en direction des « Fonds », de « la Ragée ». Observez sur la gauche le point de vue sur les monts du Beaujolais. Arrivé à « Chélut » N°28 tournez à gauche et descendre sur « Pirot » N°29 vous avez traversé la D216. Reprendre votre montée vers « le Bois » N°30, le paysage ici est différent, champs de cultures, bois et prairies. Allez jusqu « au Point IGN 514m » N°31 tournez à gauche, descendre, vous traversez un magnifique plateau. Continuez la descente jusqu’au stop, vous êtes à « l’étang de Cadolon » N°32. Tournez à droite, empruntez la D81 jusqu’au hameau de Cadolon N°33, au feu traversez puis descendre sur la gauche en direction de « La Favrie » N°34. Montez par les bois jusqu’au point N°35, « Les Quatre chemins » en traversant « le bois Gautay ». Tournez à droite jusqu’à « La Croix du Lièvre », N°36, poursuivre tout droit jusqu’aux « Justices », point N°37, vous allez pouvoir admirer une vue surprenante sur les monts du Roannais, du Forez : les villages aperçus au loin sont ceux de Villers, Mars. Tournez à droite, descendre jusqu’au cimetière de Coublanc N°38, ici les habitants sont les Coublandis, emprunter la D259 un moment puis tournez à gauche, passer devant l’oratoire « Notre Dame de Lourdes » restauré et entretenu par une équipe de bénévoles, une messe y est dite chaque année pour le 15 août. Descendre jusqu’au « Pont des Rigoles », point N°39, traversez la D81 puis la D83. Attention ! Montez en direction de « Vert pré », N°40 tournez à gauche et descendre sur « Moulin Milan » N°41. Obliquez à droite pour aller découvrir le superbe château de Barnay, N°42, le contournez puis montez sur le plateau jusqu’à « Rochemond » N°43. Admirez la vue sur la vallée qui abrite le village de Saint-de-Denis-de-Cabanne et la ville de Charlieu. Tournez à droite, vous êtes sur une ancienne voie romaine, continuez, au « point IGN 350 m », N°44, obliquez à gauche pour retourner au village de Saint-Martin-de-Lixy.

Die Landschaft hier ist anders, Ackerfelder, Wälder und Wiesen. Gehen Sie bis zum IGN-Punkt 514m" Nr. 31, biegen Sie links ab, gehen Sie bergab und überqueren Sie eine wunderschöne Hochebene. Fahren Sie weiter bergab bis zum Stoppschild und Sie sind am "Étang de Cadolon" Nr. 32. Biegen Sie rechts ab und fahren Sie auf der D81 bis zum Weiler Cadolon Nr. 33. An der Ampel überqueren Sie die Straße und fahren Sie links hinunter in Richtung "La Favrie" Nr. 34. Gehen Sie durch den Wald bergauf bis zum Punkt Nr. 35, "Les Quatre chemins", und durchqueren Sie "le bois Gautay". Biegen Sie rechts ab bis "La Croix du Lièvre", Nr. 36, und gehen Sie geradeaus bis "Les Justices", Nr. 37. Sie werden eine überraschende Aussicht auf die Berge des Roannais und des Forez genießen können. Biegen Sie rechts ab und gehen Sie hinunter zum Friedhof von Coublanc Nr. 38. Neem de tijd om deze plaats te bezoeken, die enkele jaren geleden door een groep enthousiaste Castelnovimauriciens is gerestaureerd. Ga verder naar de plaats genaamd "Bachet" N°15 dan "Boyer", punt N°16 rechtsaf en neem de weg die u leidt naar "Noirards" langs "La Chenauderie" N°17. Steek de Sornin over en vervolgens de D987 en ga omhoog naar nr. 19 "Le Bey", sla rechtsaf, steek de D985 over. Ga dan verder naar N°20 "vieux bourg" van Chassigny sous Dun, daar heten de inwoners: les Chassignons. Neem de tijd om te stoppen en deze mooie Romaanse kapel te bezoeken, die ook door een vereniging is gerestaureerd. Ga omhoog door het bos, het bospad leidt u naar "Dreuillien", punt N°21, neem het een tijdje en ga terug naar beneden door "la Madone", prachtige uitzichten worden aan uw ogen geboden: het dorp Mussy sous Dun, waarvan de inwoners heten: de Mussiats. Eenmaal in het dorp, daalt u af naar het viaduct, punt N°22. Neem even de weg langs de rivier Mussy van de 1e categorie, gewaardeerd door de vele vissers van het kanton. Sla linksaf naar "Le Fournay" N°23, ga verder naar "La Combe" N°24 en klim naar "Dunet" N°25. Ga verder door een bos van douglassparren, een bergachtig landschap wacht op u. Daal af naar het dorp Anglure sous Dun, waar u de Anglurons tegenkomt. Sla linksaf naar "Les Granges" N°26, ga verder naar "Moulin de la Planche Simon" N°27 en ga omhoog door het bos naar "Les Fonds", "La Ragée". Kijk uit naar het uitzicht op de bergen van de Beaujolais aan de linkerkant. Wanneer u bij "Chélut" N°28 aankomt, slaat u linksaf en daalt u af naar "Pirot" N°29. U heeft de D216 overgestoken. Ga verder omhoog naar "le Bois" N°30, het landschap is hier anders, akkers met gewassen, bossen en weilanden. Ga naar het "Point IGN 514m" N°31, sla linksaf, daal af, u steekt een prachtig plateau over. Ga verder naar beneden tot aan het stopbord, u bent nu bij het "Etang de Cadolon" N°32. Sla rechtsaf, neem de D81 naar het gehucht Cadolon N°33, steek bij de stoplichten de weg over en daal links af naar "La Favrie" N°34. Ga omhoog door het bos naar punt 35, "Les Quatre chemins", en steek "le bois Gautay" over. Sla rechtsaf naar "La Croix du Lièvre", N°36, ga rechtdoor naar "Les Justices", punt N°37, u zult een verrassend uitzicht hebben op de bergen van Roannais en Forez: de dorpen in de verte zijn die van Villers, Mars. Sla rechtsaf, daal af naar het Coublanc kerkhof nr. 38, hier zijn de inwoners de Coublandis, neem de D259 voor een tijdje en sla dan linksaf, passeer voor het oratorium "Notre Dame de Lourdes" gerestaureerd en onderhouden door een team van vrijwilligers, een mis wordt er elk jaar op 15 augustus opgedragen. Daal af naar de "Pont des Rigoles", punt 39, steek de D81 over en vervolgens de D83. Wees voorzichtig! Ga omhoog naar "Vert pré", N°40 linksaf en daal af naar "Moulin Milan" N°41. Sla rechtsaf om het prachtige kasteel van Barnay te ontdekken, nr. 42, ga er omheen en ga dan op het plateau naar Rochemond nr. 43. Bewonder het uitzicht over de vallei met het dorp Saint-de-Denis-de-Cabanne en de stad Charlieu. Sla rechtsaf, u bevindt zich op een oude Romeinse weg, ga verder, bij de "IGN 350 m", N°44, naar links om terug te keren naar het dorp Saint-Martin-de-Lixy.

Cruce el río Sornin por el puente romano, en el punto N°6, se encuentra en Saint Maurice les Châteauneuf, siga a su izquierda en dirección al lugar llamado "Machin", punto N°7, continúe hasta "La Matrouille" punto N°8, bordea el valle de Sornin, disfrute de este paisaje sereno. La Matrouille es una antigua fortaleza del siglo XII. Unirse a "Popet", punto N°9, "La Creuzette" N°10 luego entrar en el pueblo de Saint Edmond, un pueblo joven ya que fue sólo en 1878 que el Edmontian 78Km Circuito n°12 Boucle intercommunale, entonces parte de la comuna de Saint Maurice les Châteauneuf, decidió construir una iglesia allí. Gire a la izquierda hacia "Foy Roland", punto n°13, un camino encantador que le lleva por la D295 hacia el punto n°e "Le Bois Moulin", baje al valle y vuelva a subir, en el stop, cruce la D8, sígala un rato y luego gire a la izquierda hacia el n°14 "Le Four à Chaux". Tómese su tiempo para visitar este lugar, restaurado hace algunos años por un grupo de entusiastas Castelnovimauriciens. Continúe hasta el lugar llamado "Bachet" N°15 luego "Boyer", en el punto N°16 gire a la derecha y tome la carretera que le conducirá a "Noirards" pasando por "La Chenauderie" N°17. Cruzar el Sornin y luego la D987 y subir hacia el N°19 "Le Bey", girar a la derecha, cruzar la D985. Continúe hasta el n°20 "vieux bourg" de Chassigny sous Dun, allí, los habitantes se llaman : les Chassignons. Tómese el tiempo de detenerse para visitar esta bonita capilla románica, también restaurada por una asociación. Suba por el bosque, la pista forestal le lleva a "Dreuillien", punto N°21, tómelo un rato y vuelva a bajar por "la Madone", magníficas vistas se ofrecen a sus ojos: el pueblo de Mussy sous Dun, cuyos habitantes se llaman: los Mussiats. Una vez en el pueblo, baje hasta el viaducto, punto N°22. Tome la carretera un momento a lo largo del río Mussy de 1ª categoría, apreciado por los numerosos pescadores del cantón. Girar a la izquierda hacia "Le Fournay" N°23, continuar hasta "La Combe" N°24 y subir hasta "Dunet" N°25. Continúe por un bosque de abetos Douglas, le espera un paisaje montañoso. Baje hasta el pueblo de Anglure sous Dun, donde se encontrará con los Anglurons. Gire a la izquierda hacia "Les Granges" N°26, continúe hasta "Moulin de la Planche Simon" N°27 y suba por el bosque hacia "Fonds" y "La Ragée". Busque la vista de las montañas del Beaujolais a la izquierda. Al llegar a "Chélut" N°28 gire a la izquierda y baje hasta "Pirot" N°29, habrá cruzado la D216. Continúe su ascenso hacia "le Bois" N°30, el paisaje aquí es diferente, campos de cultivo, bosques y prados. Vaya al "Point IGN 514m" N°31, gire a la izquierda, baje, atraviesa una magnífica meseta. Continúe cuesta abajo hasta llegar a la señal de stop, ahora se encuentra en el "Etang de Cadolon" N°32. Gire a la derecha, tome la D81 hasta la aldea de Cadolon N°33, en el semáforo cruce la carretera y baje a la izquierda hacia "La Favrie" N°34. Subir por el bosque hasta el punto 35, "Les Quatre chemins", cruzando "le bois Gautay". Gire a la derecha hacia "La Croix du Lièvre", N°36, siga recto hasta "Les Justices", punto N°37, podrá admirar una vista sorprendente de los montes Roannais y Forez: los pueblos que se ven a lo lejos son los de Villers, Mars. Gire a la derecha, baje hasta el cementerio Coublanc N°38, aquí los habitantes son los Coublandis, tome la D259 durante un rato y luego gire a la izquierda, pase por delante del oratorio "Notre Dame de Lourdes" restaurado y mantenido por un equipo de voluntarios, allí se celebra una misa todos los años para el 15 de agosto. Baje hasta el "Pont des Rigoles", punto N°39, cruce la D81 y después la D83. Atención Suba hacia "Vert pré", N°40 gire a la izquierda y baje hasta "Moulin Milan" N°41. Gire a la derecha para descubrir el magnífico castillo de Barnay, n°42, rodéelo y suba por la meseta hasta " Rochemond " n°43. Admire la vista sobre el valle que incluye el pueblo de Saint-de-Denis-de-Cabanne y la ciudad de Charlieu. Gire a la derecha, se encuentra en una antigua calzada romana, continúe, en el "IGN 350 m", N°44, gire a la izquierda para volver al pueblo de Saint-Martin-de-Lixy.

Partendo da Saint-Martin-de-Lixy, punto N°1, gli abitanti di questo villaggio sono chiamati: i Saint Martilixois. Prendete la direzione di Tancon, gli abitanti di questo villaggio si chiamano Tanconnais, attraversate il villaggio, alla chiesa, punto N°2, ammirate la fioritura di questo villaggio coronata da "due fiori", prendete a sinistra della chiesa in direzione della località chiamata "Angelin", lì, girate a sinistra e scendete a Châteauneuf che ripara i Castelnoviens, passando per il bosco. Si arriva alla Place du Château, vicino alla chiesa romanica di St Pierre St Paul, costruita nel XII secolo e pesantemente modificata nel XV secolo in seguito alle devastazioni della Guerra dei Cento Anni. A sinistra si trova il castello della Magdeleine, che può essere ammirato solo dall'esterno. Scendete lungo il Chemin du Torail, punto N°4, che vi porta nel cuore del borgo antico. Prendetevi il tempo per visitarlo. Attraversate il fiume Sornin sul ponte romano, al punto 6, siete a Saint Maurice les Châteauneuf, proseguite a sinistra in direzione della località chiamata "Machin", punto 7, continuate fino a "La Matrouille", punto 8, costeggiate la valle del Sornin, godetevi questo paesaggio sereno. La Matrouille è un'antica roccaforte del XII secolo. Raggiungete "Popet", punto n. 9, "La Creuzette" n. 10 e poi entrate nel villaggio di Saint Edmond, un villaggio giovane poiché solo nel 1878 l'Edmontian 78Km Circuit n. 12 Boucle intercommunale, allora parte del comune di Saint Maurice les Châteauneuf, decise di costruirvi una chiesa. Svoltate a sinistra verso "Foy Roland", punto N°13, un delizioso sentiero che vi conduce sulla D295 verso il punto N°e "Le Bois Moulin", scendete nella valle e risalite, allo stop, attraversate la D8, seguitela per un po' e poi svoltate a sinistra verso il N°14 "Le Four à Chaux". Prendetevi il tempo per visitare questo sito, restaurato qualche anno fa da un gruppo di entusiasti castelnovimaurici. Proseguite fino alla località "Bachet" n. 15 e poi "Boyer", al punto n. 16 girate a destra e imboccate la strada che vi condurrà a "Noirards" passando per "La Chenauderie" n. 17. Attraversare il Sornin e poi la D987 e salire verso il n. 19 "Le Bey", girare a destra, attraversare la D985. Proseguire fino al n. 20 del "vieux bourg" di Chassigny sous Dun, dove gli abitanti si chiamano "les Chassignons". Fermatevi a visitare questa bella cappella romanica, anch'essa restaurata da un'associazione. Salite nel bosco, il sentiero forestale vi porta a "Dreuillien", punto N°21, percorretelo per un po' e ridiscendete per "la Madone", magnifici panorami si offrono ai vostri occhi: il villaggio di Mussy sous Dun, i cui abitanti sono chiamati: i Mussiats. Una volta arrivati al villaggio, scendete fino al viadotto, punto N°22. Percorrete per un attimo la strada che costeggia il fiume Mussy, di prima categoria, apprezzato dai numerosi pescatori del cantone. Svoltate a sinistra verso "Le Fournay" N°23, proseguite verso "La Combe" N°24 e salite a "Dunet" N°25. Proseguendo attraverso un bosco di abeti Douglas, vi attende un paesaggio montano. Scendere fino al villaggio di Anglure sous Dun, dove si incontrano gli Angluron. Svoltate a sinistra verso "Les Granges" N°26, proseguite fino al "Moulin de la Planche Simon" N°27 e salite nel bosco verso "Fonds" e "La Ragée". A sinistra si può ammirare la vista sulle montagne del Beaujolais. Arrivati a "Chélut" n. 28, svoltate a sinistra e scendete a "Pirot" n. 29: avete attraversato la D216. Continuate a salire verso "le Bois" n. 30, qui il paesaggio è diverso, campi coltivati, boschi e prati. Raggiungete il "Point IGN 514m" N°31, girate a sinistra, scendete e attraversate un magnifico altopiano. Continuate a scendere fino allo stop, siete all'"Etang de Cadolon" N°32. Girare a destra, prendere la D81 fino alla frazione di Cadolon N°33, al semaforo attraversare la strada e scendere a sinistra verso "La Favrie" N°34. Salire nel bosco fino al punto 35, "Les Quatre chemins", attraversando "le bois Gautay". Svoltate a destra per "La Croix du Lièvre", n. 36, proseguite dritti fino a "Les Justices", punto n. 37, potrete ammirare una vista sorprendente sulle montagne Roannais e Forez: i villaggi che si vedono in lontananza sono quelli di Villers, Mars. Girate a destra, scendete al cimitero di Coublanc N°38, qui gli abitanti sono i Coublandis, prendete la D259 per un po' poi girate a sinistra, passate davanti all'oratorio "Notre Dame de Lourdes" restaurato e mantenuto da un'équipe di volontari, dove ogni anno viene celebrata una messa per il 15 agosto. Scendere fino al "Pont des Rigoles", punto N°39, attraversare la D81 e poi la D83. Attenzione! Risalite verso il "Vert pré", al punto 40 girate a sinistra e scendete al "Moulin Milan" al punto 41. Svoltate a destra per scoprire il superbo castello di Barnay, n. 42, aggiratelo e poi salite sull'altopiano fino a "Rochemond", n. 43. Ammirate la vista sulla vallata. Ammirate la vista sulla valle che comprende il villaggio di Saint-de-Denis-de-Cabanne e la città di Charlieu. Girate a destra, siete su un'antica strada romana, proseguite, all'"IGN 350 m", N°44, girate a sinistra per tornare al villaggio di Saint-Martin-de-Lixy.
