Joli petit village d'Ambrus… Selon les historiens, Ambrus serait établie sur un site datant de la proto-histoire. Dès le Vème siècle, il serait fait état d'une source miraculeuse dédiée à la Vierge. En 1259, la seigneurie d'Ambrus est mentionnée sur une liste d'hommage. Selon ce document, un tiers des terres appartenait à Bertrand de Xaintrailles, un autre tiers à Raymond Bertrand de Gelas, un sixième à Raymond Guillaume de Vidalhac et un autre sixième à une personne dont on ignore l’identité. Selon certains auteurs, Saint Vincent de Paul, y aurait dit sa première messe. Selon le cantique religieux, Jean Poton de Xaintrailles, compagnon de Jeanne d'Arc y serait allé prier.

Pretty little village of Ambrus… According to historians, Ambrus would be established on a site dating back to the proto-historic period. As early as the 5th century, it would be mentioned a miraculous spring dedicated to the Virgin. In 1259, the lordship of Ambrus is mentioned on a tribute list. According to this document, a third of the land belonged to Bertrand de Xaintrailles, another third to Raymond Bertrand de Gelas, a sixth to Raymond Guillaume de Vidalhac and another sixth to a person whose identity is unknown. According to some authors, Saint Vincent de Paul said his first mass there. According to the religious hymn, Jean Poton de Xaintrailles, companion of Joan of Arc would have gone there to pray.

Hübsches kleines Dorf Ambrus… Historikern zufolge soll Ambrus auf einer Stätte aus der Frühgeschichte errichtet worden sein. Bereits im 5. Laut diesem Dokument gehörte ein Drittel des Landes Bertrand de Xaintrailles, ein weiteres Drittel Raymond Bertrand de Gelas, ein Sechstel Raymond Guillaume de Vidalhac und ein weiteres Sechstel einer Person, deren Identität nicht bekannt ist. Einigen Autoren zufolge soll der Heilige Vinzenz von Paul hier seine erste Messe gelesen haben. Nach einem religiösen Lied soll Jean Poton de Xaintrailles, ein Gefährte von Jeanne d'Arc, dort gebetet haben.
