SOURCE DE LA DEMOISELLE

Cette source, appelée « de la demoiselle », est distante d’une cinquantaine de mètres de la voie romaine. Elle a déjà été utilisée à l’époque antique, car elle constituait un point d’eau important pour faire boire les chevaux et les boeufs avant de commencer à gravir la pente. On ne connaît pas l’origine de son appellation mais on peut formuler trois hypothèses : désignation de la personne qui habitait la maison forestière, nom d’un insecte proche de la libellule, en plus petit, ou au sens de fée comme on le voit parfois, une désignation qui, dans certains cas, a pu révéler la présence de vestiges archéologiques. La source est située à la limite géologique du calcaire et des marnes imperméables à ostrea acuminata (petites huitres) et constitue l’exurgence de la nappe formée par les infiltrations d’eau pluviale dans les fissures du plateau. L’eau qui jaillit est pure, son débit est variable mais sans interruption durant toute l’année. This spring, known as "de la demoiselle", is some fifty metres from the Roman road. It was already in use in ancient times, as an important watering place for horses and oxen before starting up the slope. The origin of its name is unknown, but three hypotheses can be put forward: the name of the person who lived in the forest house, the name of an insect similar to the dragonfly, only smaller, or in the sense of a fairy, as is sometimes seen, a designation which in some cases may have revealed the presence of archaeological remains. The spring is located at the geological boundary between limestone and impermeable marl with ostrea acuminata (small oysters), and is an exurgence of the water table formed by the infiltration of rainwater into the cracks of the plateau. The water that gushes forth is pure, its flow variable but uninterrupted throughout the year. Diese Quelle, die "de la demoiselle" genannt wird, liegt etwa 50 m von der römischen Straße entfernt. Sie wurde bereits in der Antike genutzt, da sie eine wichtige Wasserstelle darstellte, an der Pferde und Ochsen trinken konnten, bevor sie den Hang hinaufstiegen. Der Ursprung ihres Namens ist nicht bekannt, aber es gibt drei Hypothesen: die Bezeichnung der Person, die das Forsthaus bewohnte, der Name eines Insekts, das der Libelle ähnelt, aber kleiner ist, oder im Sinne einer Fee, wie man sie manchmal sieht, eine Bezeichnung, die in einigen Fällen das Vorhandensein archäologischer Überreste verraten haben könnte. Die Quelle befindet sich an der geologischen Grenze zwischen Kalkstein und undurchlässigem Mergel mit Ostrea acuminata (kleine Austern) und ist der Austritt des Grundwassers, das durch das Eindringen von Regenwasser in die Risse des Plateaus entstanden ist. Das Wasser, das hier entspringt, ist rein und fließt das ganze Jahr über unterschiedlich, aber ohne Unterbrechung. Deze bron, bekend als "de la demoiselle", ligt op ongeveer vijftig meter van de Romeinse weg. De bron werd al in de oudheid gebruikt, want het was een belangrijke drenkplaats voor paarden en ossen voordat ze de helling opgingen. De oorsprong van de naam is niet bekend, maar er zijn drie mogelijke verklaringen: de naam van de persoon die in het boshuis woonde, de naam van een insect dat lijkt op de libel, alleen kleiner, of in de zin van een fee, zoals soms het geval is, een naam die in sommige gevallen de aanwezigheid van archeologische overblijfselen kan hebben onthuld. De bron bevindt zich op de geologische grens tussen kalksteen en ondoordringbare mergel met ostrea acuminata (kleine oesters) en is de uitmonding van de grondwaterspiegel die wordt gevormd door regenwater dat in de scheuren van het plateau sijpelt. Het water dat eruit stroomt is zuiver, het debiet varieert maar is het hele jaar door ononderbroken. Este manantial, conocido como "de la demoiselle", se encuentra a unos cincuenta metros de la calzada romana. Ya se utilizaba en la antigüedad, pues era un importante abrevadero para caballos y bueyes antes de que comenzaran a subir la cuesta. Se desconoce el origen de su nombre, pero hay tres posibles explicaciones: el nombre de la persona que vivía en la casa forestal, el nombre de un insecto parecido a la libélula, sólo que más pequeño, o en el sentido de hada, como ocurre a veces, nombre que en algunos casos puede haber revelado la presencia de restos arqueológicos. El manantial se encuentra en el límite geológico entre la caliza y la marga impermeable con ostrea acuminata (pequeñas ostras) y es la salida de la capa freática formada por el agua de lluvia que se filtra por las grietas de la meseta. El agua que brota es pura, su caudal variable pero ininterrumpido durante todo el año. Questa sorgente, detta "de la demoiselle", si trova a circa cinquanta metri dalla strada romana. Era già utilizzata nell'antichità, in quanto era un importante luogo di abbeveraggio per cavalli e buoi prima che iniziassero a salire il pendio. L'origine del suo nome è sconosciuta, ma ci sono tre possibili spiegazioni: il nome della persona che viveva nella casa nel bosco, il nome di un insetto simile alla libellula, solo più piccolo, o nel senso di fata, come talvolta accade, un nome che in alcuni casi può aver rivelato la presenza di resti archeologici. La sorgente si trova al confine geologico tra calcare e marna impermeabile con ostrea acuminata (piccole ostriche) ed è lo sbocco della falda freatica formata dall'acqua piovana che si infiltra nelle fessure dell'altopiano. L'acqua che sgorga è pura, il suo flusso è variabile ma ininterrotto durante tutto l'anno.
