L’Hôtié de Viviane

Accès depuis le parking : 800 m aller, à pied. Non accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Appelé aussi « tombeau des druides », il culmine à 191m au dessus du Val sans Retour. Il apparaît comme un monument mégalithique ayant la forme d'un coffre. En 1982, des fouilles complètes ont permis de dater ce monument (une sépulture et non une maison) d'environ 2500 ans avant J.C. La minuscule demeure de la fée Viviane, également appelée la Dame du Lac, qui aurait vécu à l'intérieur avant d'avoir découvert Lancelot.

Access from the car park: 800 m go, on foot. Not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Also called the "tomb of the druids", it culminates at 191m above the Val sans Retour. It appears as a megalithic monument in the form of a chest. In 1982, complete excavations allowed us to date this monument (a burial place and not a house) to around 2500 years BC. The tiny dwelling of the fairy Viviane, also called the Lady of the Lake, who is said to have lived inside before Lancelot was discovered.

Zugang vom Parkplatz: 800 m Hinweg, zu Fuß. Nicht zugänglich für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität. Das auch als "Druidengrab" bezeichnete Bauwerk erhebt sich 191 m über dem Val sans Retour. Es erscheint als ein megalithisches Monument in Form einer Truhe. Nach einer umfassenden Ausgrabung im Jahr 1982 konnte dieses Monument (eine Grabstätte und kein Haus) auf etwa 2500 Jahre v. Chr. datiert werden. Die winzige Behausung der Fee Viviane, auch Lady of the Lake genannt, die darin gelebt haben soll, bevor sie Lancelot entdeckte.
