Arboretum du Bassecq – Pouillon

L’arboretum du Bassecq est situé dans les Landes, entre Dax et Peyrehorade. Il tire son nom d’un ruisseau qui coule à proximité, et réunit sur une dizaine d’hectares une collection de plusieurs milliers d’arbres du monde entier, remarquables par leur feuillage, leurs teintes automnales, leur port. Les premières plantations remontent à 2012. Depuis, l’arboretum ne cesse d’enrichir ses collections. Il est entretenu sans produits chimiques de synthèse pour favoriser la biodiversité et la faune locale. Ouverture prévue au public en 2025.

The Bassecq arboretum is located in the Landes region between Dax and Peyrehorade. Taking its name from a nearby stream, the arboretum covers some ten hectares and features a collection of several thousand trees from around the world, remarkable for their foliage, autumnal hues and habit. The first trees were planted in 2012. Since then, the arboretum has continued to enrich its collections. The arboretum is maintained without the use of synthetic chemicals, to encourage biodiversity and local fauna. Scheduled to open to the public in 2025.

Das Arboretum du Bassecq liegt im Departement Landes zwischen Dax und Peyrehorade. Es ist nach einem Bach benannt, der in der Nähe fließt, und umfasst auf einer Fläche von etwa 10 Hektar eine Sammlung von mehreren tausend Bäumen aus der ganzen Welt, die durch ihr Laub, ihre Herbstfärbung und ihren Wuchs auffallen. Die ersten Pflanzungen wurden 2012 vorgenommen. Seitdem erweitert das Arboretum seine Sammlungen kontinuierlich. Es wird ohne chemisch-synthetische Produkte gepflegt, um die Biodiversität und die lokale Fauna zu fördern. Das Arboretum soll 2025 der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht werden.

Het arboretum van Bassecq ligt in de Landes, tussen Dax en Peyrehorade. Het arboretum, genoemd naar een nabijgelegen beek, beslaat ongeveer tien hectare en heeft een collectie van enkele duizenden bomen uit de hele wereld, die opvallen door hun gebladerte, herfstkleuren en habitus. De eerste bomen werden geplant in 2012. Sindsdien is het arboretum zijn collecties blijven uitbreiden. Het wordt onderhouden zonder gebruik te maken van synthetische chemicaliën om de biodiversiteit en de plaatselijke fauna te bevorderen. Het arboretum zal in 2025 opengaan voor het publiek.

El arboreto, que debe su nombre a un arroyo cercano, ocupa una decena de hectáreas y cuenta con una colección de varios miles de árboles procedentes de todo el mundo, que destacan por su follaje, sus colores otoñales y su porte. Los primeros árboles se plantaron en 2012. Desde entonces, el arboreto no ha dejado de ampliar sus colecciones. Se mantiene sin utilizar productos químicos sintéticos para fomentar la biodiversidad y la fauna local. Está previsto que el arboreto abra sus puertas al público en 2025.

L'arboreto, che prende il nome da un vicino torrente, si estende per circa dieci ettari e vanta una collezione di diverse migliaia di alberi provenienti da tutto il mondo, notevoli per il fogliame, i colori autunnali e le abitudini. I primi alberi sono stati piantati nel 2012. Da allora, l'arboreto ha continuato ad ampliare le sue collezioni. È mantenuto senza l'uso di sostanze chimiche di sintesi per incoraggiare la biodiversità e la fauna locale. L'apertura al pubblico dell'arboreto è prevista per il 2025.
