TOUR DE MIRANDE – Villemagne-l'Argentière

La Tour du Monastère dite Tour de Mirande est en réalité un vestige de la première abbatiale. Elle se dresse sur la place du presbytère, derrière la nouvelle abbatiale. Construction soignée des XIIème-XIIIème siècles qui servait à la fois de tour de fortification, de guet et de clocher. A l’avant-dernier étage, on remarquera, bien qu’elles aient été colmatées, des baies aux arcs outrepassés (en forme de trous de serrure) qui ajoutent à l’originalité de cette tour.

The Tower of the Monastery known as the Tower of Mirande is actually a vestige of the first abbey church. It stands on the presbytery square, behind the new abbey church. Carefully built in the 12th-13th centuries, it served as a fortification tower, watchtower and bell tower. On the penultimate floor, although they have been filled in, there are bays with keyhole-shaped arches that add to the originality of this tower.

Der Tour du Monastère, auch Tour de Mirande genannt, ist in Wirklichkeit ein Überbleibsel der ersten Abteikirche. Er steht auf dem Platz vor dem Presbyterium hinter der neuen Abteikirche. Jahrhundert, der gleichzeitig als Befestigungs- und Wachturm sowie als Glockenturm diente. Im vorletzten Stockwerk befinden sich, obwohl sie abgedichtet wurden, Fenster mit überstehenden Bögen (in Form von Schlüssellöchern), die zur Originalität des Turms beitragen.

De Tour du Monastère, beter bekend als de Tour de Mirande, is eigenlijk een overblijfsel van de eerste abdijkerk. Hij staat op de Place du Presbytère, achter de nieuwe abdijkerk. Het werd gebouwd in de 12e-13e eeuw om dienst te doen als vestingtoren, uitkijkpost en klokkentoren. De voorlaatste verdieping heeft traveeën met hoefijzerbogen (in de vorm van sleutelgaten), maar deze zijn afgesloten, wat de toren nog origineler maakt.

La Tour du Monastère, conocida como Tour de Mirande, es en realidad un vestigio de la primera iglesia abacial. Se encuentra en la plaza del Presbiterio, detrás de la nueva iglesia abacial. Fue construida en los siglos XII-XIII para servir de torre de fortificación, vigía y campanario. El penúltimo piso presenta vanos con arcos de herradura (en forma de ojo de cerradura), aunque han sido sellados, lo que añade originalidad a la torre.

Fu costruita nel XII-XIII secolo per fungere da torre di fortificazione, vedetta e campanile. Il penultimo piano è caratterizzato da campate con archi a ferro di cavallo (a forma di buco della serratura), anche se sono stati sigillati, il che rende la torre ancora più originale.
