Temple réformé du XIXème siècle – Lafrimbolle

Daniel Legrand, industriel de la vallée de la Bruche, disciple d'Oberlin, créa en 1846 une école à Lafrimbolle pour instruire les enfants des familles protestantes des alentours. Trois ans après, cette école fut aménagée pour servir d'oratoire, en 1849. L'école fut supprimée en 1885. L'oratoire fut agrandi par la suite et devint temple. Depuis 1927 le bâtiment a gardé son aspect actuel.

Daniel Legrand, an industrialist from the Bruche valley and a disciple of Oberlin, created a school in Lafrimbolle in 1846 to educate the children of the Protestant families in the area. Three years later, this school was converted into an oratory in 1849. The school was abolished in 1885. The oratory was later enlarged and became a temple. Since 1927 the building has kept its present appearance.

Daniel Legrand, ein Industrieller aus dem Bruche-Tal und Schüler von Oberlin, richtete 1846 in Lafrimbolle eine Schule ein, um die Kinder der protestantischen Familien aus der Umgebung zu unterrichten. Drei Jahre später wurde diese Schule 1849 als Oratorium ausgebaut. Die Schule wurde 1885 aufgelöst. Das Oratorium wurde später zu einem Tempel ausgebaut. Seit 1927 hat das Gebäude sein heutiges Aussehen behalten.
