Le chemin de fontaine – Mauges-sur-Loire

Jusqu'à l'installation du service d'eau dans les années 1960, la fontaine alimente en eau une grande partie de la population du bourg. – Le chemin de fontaine, c'est d'abord le chemin emprunté par les garçons qui vont à l'école "Saint-Victor" à partir de 1934 (photo 1). Bénédiction école Saint-Victor en 1934 (photo en-tête) – L’école privée de filles (photo 2) « Les Saints Anges », construite rue Marc Leclerc, fonctionne de 1903 à 1995 date à laquelle elle se regroupe avec l’école de garçons « Saint-Victor ». – Le regroupement des 2 écoles a nécessité la création de nouvelles classes avec la participation de parents bénévoles (photo 3). Ouverte en 1983 à l’entrée du chemin de fontaine, la bibliothèque est très fréquentée.
