Le travail du Chiroux – La Chapelle-Taillefert

Le village du Chiroux possède plusieurs éléments patrimoniaux sur le 'couderc' (espace communautaire – centre symbolique du village) : la fontaine, le lavoir, la croix et désormais un travail ou 'tramail', objet utilisé pour maintenir les bovins pendant que le maréchal les ferrait. La petite place centrale a été ceinturée par un muret de pierres sèches et recouverte de tuf afin de cacher le bitume. Le Chiroux est une halte appréciée des promeneurs.

The village of Le Chiroux boasts a number of heritage features on the 'couderc' (community space – symbolic center of the village): the fountain, the washhouse, the cross and now a work or 'tramail', an object used to hold cattle while the farrier shod them. The small central square has been surrounded by a low dry-stone wall and covered with tuff to hide the asphalt. Le Chiroux is a popular stopping-off point for walkers.

Das Dorf Le Chiroux besitzt auf dem 'Couderc' (Gemeinschaftsraum – symbolisches Zentrum des Dorfes) mehrere Elemente des Kulturerbes: den Brunnen, das Waschhaus, das Kreuz und nun auch eine Arbeit oder 'Tramail', ein Gegenstand, der zum Festhalten von Rindern verwendet wurde, während der Hufschmied sie beschlug. Der kleine zentrale Platz wurde von einer Trockenmauer umschlossen und mit Tuffstein bedeckt, um den Asphalt zu verbergen. Le Chiroux ist ein beliebter Rastplatz für Spaziergänger.

La pequeña plaza central ha sido rodeada por un muro bajo de piedra seca y cubierta de toba para ocultar el asfalto. Le Chiroux es un lugar de paso muy frecuentado por los senderistas.
