ÉGLISE SAINT MARTIN – Gelvécourt-et-Adompt

L'église Saint-Martin dont la construction remonte au XIIe siècle est inscrite aux Monuments Historiques. Construite à la fin de l'époque romane, l'église d'Adompt conserve de cette époque la base du clocher et la nef, le chevet a été reconstruit en style gothique au début du XVIe siècle. Les murs nord et sud de la nef sont pourvus de baies en plein cintre romanes. Elle renferme deux souvenirs de l'ancienne abbaye de Bonfay proche d'Adompt mais aujourd'hui entièrement détruite : la cuve armoriée du bénitier d'entrée et, près du chœur dans le collatéral nord, une Vierge à l'Enfant. Celle-ci, due à un artisan local, est souriante mais le drapé des costumes est maladroit. Elle peut dater de la fin du XIVe siècle. A voir le manoir rectangulaire, accolé à l'église. Uniquement visite des extérieurs.

The church of Saint-Martin, whose construction dates back to the 12th century, is listed as a Historic Monument. Built at the end of the Romanesque period, the church of Adompt preserves from this period the base of the bell tower and the nave, the chevet was rebuilt in Gothic style at the beginning of the 16th century. The north and south walls of the nave have Romanesque semi-circular bays. It contains two souvenirs of the former Bonfay abbey near Adompt, which has now been completely destroyed: the armorial basin of the stoup at the entrance and, near the choir in the north aisle, a Virgin and Child. The latter, made by a local craftsman, is smiling but the draping of the costumes is awkward. It may date from the end of the 14th century. See the rectangular manor house, next to the church. Die Kirche Saint-Martin, deren Bau auf das 12. Jahrhundert zurückgeht, ist in die Liste der historischen Monumente eingetragen. Die Kirche in Adompt wurde am Ende der romanischen Epoche erbaut. Aus dieser Zeit sind noch die Basis des Glockenturms und das Kirchenschiff erhalten, das Kopfende wurde im gotischen Stil Anfang des 16. Die Nord- und Südwände des Kirchenschiffs sind mit romanischen Rundbogenöffnungen versehen. Die Kirche beherbergt zwei Erinnerungsstücke an die ehemalige Abtei Bonfay in der Nähe von Adompt, die heute jedoch vollständig zerstört ist: das Wappengefäß des Eingangsweihwasserbeckens und, in der Nähe des Chors im nördlichen Seitenschiff, eine Madonna mit Kind. Diese, die einem örtlichen Handwerker zu verdanken ist, lächelt, aber die Drapierung der Kostüme ist ungeschickt. Sie könnte aus dem späten 14. Jahrhundert stammen. Sehenswert ist das rechteckige Herrenhaus, das an die Kirche angebaut ist. Nur Besichtigung der Außenanlagen.

De kerk Saint-Martin, waarvan de bouw dateert uit de 12e eeuw, staat op de monumentenlijst. De kerk van Adompt, gebouwd aan het einde van de romaanse periode, bewaart de basis van de klokkentoren en het schip uit deze periode, de chevet werd herbouwd in gotische stijl aan het begin van de 16e eeuw. De noord- en zuidmuur van het schip hebben romaanse halfronde traveeën. Het bevat twee souvenirs van de vroegere abdij van Bonfay, die dicht bij Adompt ligt maar nu volledig verwoest is: het wapenbekken van de stoep bij de ingang en, bij het koor in de noordelijke zijbeuk, een Maagd met Kind. De laatste, gemaakt door een plaatselijke ambachtsman, is glimlachend maar de drapering van de kostuums is onhandig. Het kan dateren van het einde van de 14e eeuw. Zie het rechthoekige landhuis naast de kerk. Alleen de buitenkant kan worden bezocht.

Este último, realizado por un artesano local, es sonriente, pero la confección de los trajes es torpe. Puede datar de finales del siglo XIV. Ver la casa solariega rectangular junto a la iglesia. Sólo se puede visitar el exterior.

La chiesa di Saint-Martin, la cui costruzione risale al XII secolo, è classificata come monumento storico. Costruita alla fine del periodo romanico, la chiesa di Adompt conserva la base del campanile e la navata di questo periodo, mentre la navata fu ricostruita in stile gotico all'inizio del XVI secolo. Le pareti nord e sud della navata presentano campate romaniche semicircolari. Contiene due ricordi dell'antica abbazia di Bonfay, vicina ad Adompt ma ormai completamente distrutta: il bacino armoriale dell'acquasantiera all'ingresso e, vicino al coro nella navata nord, una Vergine con Bambino. Quest'ultimo, realizzato da un artigiano locale, fa sorridere ma il drappeggio dei costumi è imbarazzante. Potrebbe risalire alla fine del XIV secolo. Vedere la casa padronale rettangolare accanto alla chiesa. È possibile visitare solo l'esterno.
