Eglise Saint-Martin – Ammerschwihr

Ce monument historique édifié au XVè siècle a été victime d'un incendie dû aux bombardements de décembre 1944 et de janvier 1945. Le village a été détruit aux trois-quarts lors de la Libération des français, seule l'église et deux tours ont été brièvement épargnées.

This historical monument built in the 15th century was the victim of a fire due to the bombings of December 1944 and January 1945. Three quarters of the village was destroyed during the Liberation of the French, only the church and two towers were briefly spared.

Das im 15. Jahrhundert errichtete historische Bauwerk fiel einem Brand zum Opfer, der durch die Bombenangriffe im Dezember 1944 und Januar 1945 ausgelöst wurde. Das Dorf wurde bei der Befreiung der Franzosen zu drei Vierteln zerstört, nur die Kirche und zwei Türme blieben kurzzeitig verschont.

Dit historische monument, gebouwd in de 15e eeuw, werd tijdens de bombardementen van december 1944 en januari 1945 door brand verwoest. Driekwart van het dorp werd verwoest tijdens de bevrijding van de Fransen, alleen de kerk en twee torens bleven even gespaard.

Este monumento histórico, construido en el siglo XV, fue destruido por el fuego durante los bombardeos de diciembre de 1944 y enero de 1945. Tres cuartas partes del pueblo fueron destruidas durante la Liberación de los franceses, sólo la iglesia y las dos torres se salvaron brevemente.
