ÉGLISE SAINT JEAN-BAPTISTE D'ESTAING – Estaing

Ce village dispersé était formé par la Bat de Bun et la Bat d'Aucun. Suite à une pétition au Directoire, le 17 prairial de l'an III, les habitants purent construire une église doublée d'un cimetière. Commencés en 1796, les travaux ne furent terminés pour l'inauguration qu'en 1822. L'église est donc de construction récente. Elle présente un mélange d'imitation romane et gothique. Éloignée du village, située sur un plateau, elle a été dédiée à saint Jean-Baptiste. Son clocher-tour carré abrite un porche à deux voussures avec inscriptions, de style roman. À l'intérieur, le maître autel est en bois peint et mis en valeur par un baldaquin soutenu par quatre colonnes de bois aux chapiteaux de style dorique. Il sert de support à une statue de saint Jean-Baptiste monté sur une coupole. Il n’y a pas de retable, mais un beau tabernacle en bois doré. Sur la porte, un Christ aux liens. Il est encadré à sa droite par une statuette représentant saint Pierre avec sa clé, et à sa gauche par un autre saint. Ils sont séparés par des colonnettes cannelées. La niche au-dessus n’abrite aucune statuette. Elle est surmontée d’une croix reposant une coupole. Deux ailerons en forme de spirale limitent l’ensemble. Nous n’avons aucune information sur l’origine de ce tabernacle que certains datent de 1836. Encadrant l'autel, deux pots à feu en bois dorés et deux statues d'anges adorateurs terminent la décoration. Dans la chapelle de gauche dédiée à saint Jean Baptiste, trône une étonnante statue de Bernadette. Elle vient de l’atelier François Dominique MONNA de Toulouse. La chapelle de droite est dédiée à la Vierge. La porte des fonts baptismaux a été enlevée. Le bénitier en pierre noire est récent, l’ancien a été volé. Les deux grands tableaux représentent saint Blaise et saint Martin. Ils ont été offerts en 1905, par la famille FAURET. L’une est signée CHAVAUTY avec une date : 1847. À l’entrée, une toile un peu sombre, de belle facture représente, semble-t-il, l’Annonce faite à Marie par l’archange Gabriel. Il mériterait une restauration. Dieses verstreute Dorf bestand aus Bat de Bun und Bat d'Aucun. Nach einer Petition an das Direktorium am 17. Prairialtag des Jahres III durften die Einwohner eine Kirche mit Friedhof bauen. Die Bauarbeiten begannen 1796 und wurden erst 1822 zur Einweihung fertiggestellt. Die Kirche ist also ein Neubau. Sie weist eine Mischung aus romanischer und gotischer Nachahmung auf. Sie liegt weit entfernt vom Dorf auf einem Plateau und wurde Johannes dem Täufer geweiht. Ihr quadratischer Glockenturm beherbergt eine Vorhalle mit zwei Gewölben und Inschriften im romanischen Stil. Im Inneren befindet sich ein Hochaltar aus bemaltem Holz, der durch einen Baldachin hervorgehoben wird, der von vier Holzsäulen mit Kapitellen im dorischen Stil getragen wird. Er dient als Stütze für eine Statue des Heiligen Johannes des Täufers, der auf einer Kuppel montiert ist Es gibt kein Altarbild, aber einen schönen Tabernakel aus vergoldetem Holz. Auf der Tür befindet sich ein Christus mit Fesseln. Sie sind durch kannelierte Säulen voneinander getrennt. Die Nische darüber beherbergt keine Statuette. Sie wird von einem Kreuz überragt, das auf einer Kuppel ruht. Zwei spiralförmige Flügel begrenzen das Ganze. Wir haben keine Informationen über die Herkunft dieses Tabernakels, der von einigen auf das Jahr 1836 datiert wird. Den Altar umrahmend, schließen zwei Feuertöpfe aus vergoldetem Holz und zwei Statuen von anbetenden Engeln die Dekoration ab. Hij wordt rechts geflankeerd door een beeldje van Petrus met zijn sleutel, en links door een andere heilige. Ze worden gescheiden door gecanneleerde zuilen. De nis hierboven bevat geen beeldje. Het wordt bekroond door een kruis dat op een koepel rust. Twee spiraalvormige vinnen begrenzen het geheel. Wij hebben geen informatie over de oorsprong van deze tabernakel, die sommigen dateren uit 1836. Twee vergulde houten vuurpotten en twee beelden van aanbiddende engelen completeren de decoratie rond het altaar. In de linkerkapel, gewijd aan Johannes de Doper, staat een prachtig beeld van Bernadette. Het komt uit het atelier van François Dominique MONNA in Toulouse. El nicho de arriba no contiene ninguna estatuilla. Está coronada por una cruz que descansa sobre una cúpula. Dos aletas en forma de espiral limitan el conjunto. No tenemos información sobre el origen de este tabernáculo, que algunos datan de 1836. Dos pebeteros de madera dorada y dos estatuas de ángeles adoradores completan la decoración alrededor del altar. En la capilla de la izquierda, dedicada a San Juan Bautista, hay una sorprendente estatua de Bernadette. Procede del taller François Dominique MONNA de Toulouse. La capilla de la derecha está dedicada a la Virgen La puerta de la pila bautismal ha sido retirada. La fuente de piedra negra es nueva, la antigua fue robada. La nicchia di cui sopra non contiene alcuna statuetta. È sormontata da una croce che poggia su una cupola. Due pinne a forma di spirale limitano il tutto. Non abbiamo informazioni sull'origine di questo tabernacolo, che alcuni fanno risalire al 1836. Due vasi da fuoco in legno dorato e due statue di angeli adoranti completano la decorazione intorno all'altare. Nella cappella di sinistra, dedicata a San Giovanni Battista, si trova una straordinaria statua di Bernadette. Proviene dal laboratorio François Dominique MONNA di Tolosa. La cappella di destra è dedicata alla Vergine La porta del fonte battesimale è stata rimossa. La fontana in pietra nera è nuova, quella vecchia è stata rubata. I due grandi dipinti rappresentano San Biagio e San Martino. Sono stati donati nel 1905 dalla famiglia FAURET. Una è firmata CHAVAUTY con data 1847.
