EGLISE SAINT-GENGOULF A LANNES – Rolampont

L'église Saint-Gengoulf de Lannes a été édifié vers le 14e siècle, elle présente une tour-clocher fortifiée surmontant le choeur. La date de 1691, qui est inscrite sur un des contreforts de la sacristie, marque l'année de la transformation d'une chapelle accolée au sud du choeur en sacristie. L'édifice, de plan allongé, comporte donc une nef à vaisseau unique plafonné (entièrement rebâtie au 18e siècle), une travée de choeur voûtée d'ogives qui se termine par un chevet plat, et une tour du clocher couronnée d'un toit en pavillon.

Saint-Gengoulf de Lannes church was built around the 14th century and features a fortified bell tower above the choir. The date 1691, inscribed on one of the sacristy's buttresses, marks the year in which a chapel to the south of the choir was converted into a sacristy. The elongated edifice features a single nave with a ceiling (entirely rebuilt in the 18th century), a rib-vaulted choir bay ending in a flat chevet, and a bell tower crowned by a pavilion roof.
