Eglise Saint-Francois – Annecy

L'église Saint-François, ancienne chapelle de la Visitation est reconstruite en 1642 pour accueillir dignement les tombeaux des fondateurs François de Sales et Jeanne de Chantal. C'est un bel exemple d'architecture dite de la Contre-Réforme (1560-1640).

The church of Saint-François, formerly the chapel of the Visitation, was rebuilt in 1642 to house the tombs of the founders François de Sales and Jeanne de Chantal. It is a beautiful example of Counter-Reformation architecture (1560-1640).

Die Kirche Saint-François, die ehemalige Kapelle der Visitation, wurde 1642 wieder aufgebaut, um die Gräber der Gründer François de Sales und Jeanne de Chantal würdig zu beherbergen. Sie ist ein schönes Beispiel für die sogenannte Architektur der Gegenreformation (1560-1640).
