Eglise Saint-Aubin – Gavrus

(XVème) A partir du XVe siècle sous l'invocation de saint Aubin, l'église dépendait de l'archidiaconné de Bayeux et du doyenné d'Evrecy. Le seigneur Pierre du Buisson est, selon toute vraisemblance, enterré dans la chapelle méridionale accolé à la nef et au choeur. Certaines parties de l'édifice, endommagé lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, ont été préservées, notamment le clocher-peigne. Les murs étés autrefois ornés de bois dans leur partie inférieure. les stalles ont disparu. le carrelage de la sacristie est d'origine. Dissimulé dans le mur extérieur sud de l'église, une statue représente le saint patron "Saint Aubin" vêtu de l'habit épiscopal.

(15th) From the 15th century under the invocation of Saint Aubin, the church was under the control of the archdeacon of Bayeux and the deanery of Evrecy. Lord Pierre du Buisson is, in all likelihood, buried in the southern chapel adjoining the nave and choir. Some parts of the building, damaged during the Second World War, have been preserved, notably the comb-tower. The walls were once decorated with wood in their lower part. the stalls have disappeared. the tiling of the sacristy is original. Hidden in the south outer wall of the church, a statue represents the patron saint "Saint Aubin" dressed in the episcopal habit.

(XV.) Ab dem 15. Jahrhundert unter der Invokation des Heiligen Aubin unterstand die Kirche dem Archidiakonat Bayeux und dem Dekanat Evrecy. Der Herr Pierre du Buisson wurde aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach in der südlichen Kapelle begraben, die an das Kirchenschiff und den Chor angebaut war. Einige Teile des Gebäudes, das im Zweiten Weltkrieg beschädigt wurde, sind erhalten geblieben, insbesondere der Glockenturm mit Kamm. Die Wände waren früher im unteren Teil mit Holz verziert. Das Kirchengestühl ist verschwunden. Die Fliesen in der Sakristei sind original. In der südlichen Außenwand der Kirche befindet sich eine Statue, die den Schutzheiligen "Saint Aubin" im Bischofsgewand darstellt.

El señor Pierre du Buisson está, con toda probabilidad, enterrado en la capilla sur, contigua a la nave y al coro. Algunas partes del edificio, dañadas durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, se han conservado, especialmente el campanario. Las paredes estaban antiguamente decoradas con madera en su parte inferior. La sillería ha desaparecido. Los azulejos de la sacristía son originales.
