Eglise Notre Dame de l'Assomption de Mimizan – Mimizan

En raison du mauvais état de la vieille église, la construction d'une nouvelle église fut décidée en novembre 1879. De style néogothique, elle fut consacrée le 3 mai 1891. L'ensemble des statues date de la fin du XIXème siècle. Le maître autel est de style néoclassique et représente la Cène. Une statue de la Vierge en bois dorée datant du XVIIème siècle est installé dans la chapelle nord. L'orgue symphonique est construit en 1888. Mais ce n'est qu'en 2003 qu'il sera acheté par l'association des amis de l'orgue.

Due to the poor condition of the old church, the construction of a new church was decided in November 1879. It was consecrated in neo-gothic style on May 3, 1891. All the statues date from the end of the 19th century. The high altar is in neoclassical style and represents the Last Supper. A gilded wooden statue of the Virgin Mary dating from the 17th century is installed in the north chapel. The symphonic organ was built in 1888. But it is only in 2003 that it will be bought by the association of the friends of the organ.

Aufgrund des schlechten Zustands der alten Kirche wurde im November 1879 der Bau einer neuen Kirche beschlossen. Sie wurde im neugotischen Stil erbaut und am 3. Mai 1891 geweiht. Die Statuen stammen aus dem späten 19. Jahrhundert. Der Hauptaltar ist im neoklassischen Stil gehalten und stellt das letzte Abendmahl dar. Eine vergoldete hölzerne Marienstatue aus dem 17. Jahrhundert ist in der Nordkapelle aufgestellt. Die symphonische Orgel wurde 1888 gebaut. Sie wurde jedoch erst 2003 von der Vereinigung der Orgelfreunde gekauft.

Vanwege de slechte staat van de oude kerk werd in november 1879 besloten een nieuwe kerk te bouwen. De neogotische kerk werd ingewijd op 3 mei 1891. Alle beelden dateren van het einde van de 19e eeuw. Het hoofdaltaar is in neoklassieke stijl en stelt het Laatste Avondmaal voor. In de noordelijke kapel staat een verguld houten Mariabeeld uit de 17e eeuw. Het symfonieorgel werd gebouwd in 1888. Het duurde echter tot 2003 voordat het werd aangekocht door de Vereniging van Vrienden van het Orgel.

Debido al mal estado de la antigua iglesia, se decidió construir una nueva en noviembre de 1879. La iglesia neogótica fue consagrada el 3 de mayo de 1891.
