La centrale hydraulique de Kembs est la première à avoir été mise en service sur le Rhin en 1932 exactement. C'est aujourd’hui à la fois un site de production d'électricité et un témoin incontournable du patrimoine industriel rhénan. A l’image des grands défis techniques et humains du début du XXe siècle, la centrale de Kembs raconte la fabuleuse histoire de l’électricité en Alsace.

The Kembs hydroelectric power station was the first to be put into operation on the Rhine in 1932. Today it is both an electricity production site and an essential witness to the industrial heritage of the Rhine. Like the great technical and human challenges of the early 20th century, the Kembs power plant tells the fabulous story of electricity in Alsace.
