Ancien théâtre Napoléon, actuel opéra

Édifié au nord de la place Broglie, l’ancien théâtre municipal – actuel opéra – est érigé en 1821 sur les plans de l’ingénieur Robin et de l’architecte Villot. Sa façade, avec son péristyle constitué de six colonnes ioniques coiffées de statues de muses, est de style néoclassique. Un avant-corps circulaire à colonnes engagées est ajouté à l'arrière du bâtiment pendant la période allemande par Johann-Carl Ott en 1888 qui permet d’étendre le bâtiment et constitue un point de liaison entre le centre historique et la Neustadt.

Built to the north of Broglie Square, the former municipal theatre – now the opera house – was erected in 1821 according to the plans of engineer Robin and architect Villot. Its façade, with its peristyle consisting of six Ionic columns topped by statues of muses, is in neoclassical style. A circular front with engaged columns was added to the rear of the building during the German period by Johann-Carl Ott in 1888, which allowed the building to be extended and provided a link between the historic centre and the Neustadt.

Nördlich des Place Broglie wurde 1821 das alte Stadttheater – die heutige Oper – nach den Plänen des Ingenieurs Robin und des Architekten Villot errichtet. Seine Fassade mit einem Peristyl aus sechs ionischen Säulen mit Musenstatuen ist im neoklassizistischen Stil gehalten. Ein kreisförmiger Vorbau mit engagierten Säulen wurde während der deutschen Periode von Johann-Carl Ott 1888 an der Rückseite des Gebäudes hinzugefügt, wodurch das Gebäude erweitert wurde und einen Verbindungspunkt zwischen dem historischen Zentrum und der Neustadt darstellte.

Het voormalige stadstheater – nu operagebouw – werd in 1821 gebouwd ten noorden van het Broglieplein naar de plannen van ingenieur Robin en architect Villot. De voorgevel, met een peristyle bestaande uit zes Ionische zuilen met daarop beelden van muzen, is in neoklassieke stijl. Aan de achterzijde van het gebouw werd tijdens de Duitse periode door Johann-Carl Ott in 1888 een rond voorplein met geëngageerde zuilen toegevoegd, waardoor het gebouw kon worden uitgebreid en een verbinding ontstond tussen het historische centrum en de Neustadt.

El antiguo teatro municipal -actualmente la ópera- se construyó en 1821 sobre los planos del ingeniero Robin y el arquitecto Villot. Su fachada, con su peristilo formado por seis columnas jónicas coronadas por estatuas de musas, es de estilo neoclásico. En 1888, Johann-Carl Ott añadió a la parte trasera del edificio un edificio circular con columnas adosadas que ampliaba el edificio y servía de enlace entre el centro histórico y el Neustadt.

L'ex teatro comunale – oggi teatro dell'opera – fu costruito nel 1821 su progetto dell'ingegnere Robin e dell'architetto Villot. La sua facciata, con il peristilio composto da sei colonne ioniche sormontate da statue di muse, è in stile neoclassico. Nel 1888, durante il periodo tedesco, Johann-Carl Ott aggiunse alla parte posteriore dell'edificio un avancorpo circolare con colonne innestate, che ampliò l'edificio e costituì un collegamento tra il centro storico e la Neustadt.
