Il lègue cette confusion à sa fille, Michèle, franco-irlando-britannique, qui choisit de l'analyser à travers un spectacle : Irish troubles. Avec deux autre artistes, elle nous propose ainsi une forme hybride qui mêle musique et théâtralité pour raconter l'histoire de l'Irlande à travers un récit familial, et la quête de ses racines. From 9? to 14? – All audiences Alexander, an Irish-British citizen, grew up in a country from which he was not originally from, as if driven from his native land. He bequeathed this confusion to his daughter Michèle, a Franco-Irish-British woman, who chose to analyze it in a show entitled Irish Troubles. With two other artists, she offers us a hybrid form that blends music and theatricality to tell the story of Ireland through a family narrative, and the quest for her roots. With the sound of her voice, the rhythm of the guitar and the melody of the violin or flute, the trio embodies the island and recounts its division by the United Kingdom.
