Mortier, le patron des patrons, est dans un embarras extrême : le gouvernement envisage d’instaurer une taxe sur les très hauts revenus. Dans le même temps, la journaliste d’investigation Corinne Lagneau rédige un article sur les entreprises richissimes qui éludent leurs impôts via des sociétés offshores. La veille de la parution, l’article est censuré et la journaliste limogée. S’en suit une riposte virulente qui enflamme les réseaux sociaux, incite les citoyens à la rébellion.
