Ce photographe naturaliste raconte sa quête personnelle et parfois obsessive de l'image parfaite. La recherche esthétique l'amène jusqu'au pari fou de photographier cet oiseau lors de ses parties de pêche fulgurantes. His quest for aesthetics led him to the mad gamble of photographing this bird during his dazzling fishing trips. The result is breathtaking, all the more so as few photographers up to that point had managed such shots without luring the coveted bird into an aquarium. Der Naturfotograf erzählt von seiner persönlichen und manchmal obsessiven Suche nach dem perfekten Bild. Die ästhetische Suche führt ihn bis zu der verrückten Wette, diesen Vogel bei seinen fulminanten Angeltouren zu fotografieren. Das Ergebnis ist verblüffend, zumal bis dahin nur sehr wenige Fotografen solche Aufnahmen gemacht hatten, ohne den begehrten Vogel in ein Aquarium zu locken. Eine brillante Suche des farbenprächtigsten aller Angler.

Erwan Balança geeft zijn antwoord in deze tentoonstelling. Deze naturalistische fotograaf vertelt over zijn persoonlijke en soms obsessieve zoektocht naar het perfecte beeld. Zijn zoektocht naar esthetische perfectie bracht hem tot de gekke gok om deze vogel te fotograferen tijdens zijn duizelingwekkende vistochten. Het resultaat is adembenemend, temeer omdat tot dan toe maar weinig fotografen erin geslaagd waren dergelijke opnamen te maken zonder deze felbegeerde vogel een aquarium in te lokken. Een briljante zoektocht van de meest kleurrijke visser.

El resultado es impresionante, tanto más cuanto que, hasta entonces, muy pocos fotógrafos habían logrado tales tomas sin atraer a esta codiciada ave a un acuario.
