Patrick Adler se fait un jour interpeller dans un train par une voyageuse qui croit le reconnaître et l’interroge. En constatant que c’est bien lui, elle s’exclame, émue, bouleversée : « Je vous croyais mort !!! ».
Sur cette histoire – véridique -, il décide de construire un récit sur la mort ou plutôt l’approche de la mort en faisant le bilan de son existence, en abordant tout sans ambages, avec ironie, autodérision et…beaucoup d’humour, le tout en imitations, comme toujours ! De l’annonce de la retraite au choix du cercueil en passant par la grand-mère suceuse de pastilles Valda, le suicide de Mike Brant, la cryogénie, la traversée de la Manche par Philippe Croizon, Hanouna, France Gall et son Berger…pas allemand, les réseaux sociaux, les grandes voix du répertoire, tout y passe. Vite, trop vite. Parce qu’il faut en profiter, tant qu’on est en vie !

Op een dag wordt Patrick Adler in een trein aangesproken door een vrouwelijke passagier die denkt hem te herkennen en hem vragen stelt. Toen ze zich realiseerde dat hij het was, riep ze ontroerd uit: "Ik dacht dat je dood was!
Op basis van dit (waargebeurde) verhaal besloot hij een verhaal te bouwen over de dood, of liever gezegd de naderende dood, door de balans op te maken van zijn leven, waarbij hij alles recht voor zijn raap aanpakt, met ironie, zelfspot en veel humor, alles in imitaties, zoals altijd! Un día, Patrick Adler es abordado en un tren por una pasajera que cree reconocerle y le hace preguntas. Al darse cuenta de que era él, exclama, conmovida y alterada: "¡Pensaba que estabas muerto!
A partir de esta historia (real), decidió construir un relato sobre la muerte, o más bien la proximidad de la muerte, haciendo balance de su vida, abordándolo todo sin rodeos, con ironía, autoburla y mucho humor, ¡todo en imitaciones, como siempre!
