Château La Coste présente une exposition personnelle de l’artiste coréen Ha Chong-Hyun, figure majeure du mouvement Dansaekhwa, apparu dans la Corée des années 1970. Intitulée Light Into Color, l’exposition revient sur plus de cinquante ans de recherche autour de la matière, de la lumière et du geste pictural. Au cœur de cette exposition temporaire en Provence, la série Conjonction révèle une technique singulière : faire passer la peinture de l’arrière à l’avant d’une toile de jute brute, évoquant les cicatrices de l’histoire. Château La Coste presents a solo exhibition by Korean artist Ha Chong-Hyun, a major figure in the Dansaekhwa movement that emerged in Korea in the 1970s. Entitled Light Into Color, the exhibition looks back over fifty years of research into materials, light and the pictorial gesture. At the heart of this temporary exhibition in Provence, the Conjonction series reveals a singular technique: passing paint from the back to the front of a raw burlap canvas, evoking the scars of history. Château La Coste präsentiert eine Einzelausstellung des koreanischen Künstlers Ha Chong-Hyun, einer der wichtigsten Figuren der Dansaekhwa-Bewegung, die in den 1970er Jahren in Korea entstand. Im Mittelpunkt der Sonderausstellung in der Provence steht die Serie Conjonction, die eine einzigartige Technik zeigt: Die Farbe wird von der Rückseite auf die Vorderseite eines rohen Jutetuchs übertragen und erinnert so an die Narben der Geschichte. Ha Chong-Hyuns Werke, die im Renzo-Piano-Pavillon auf Château La Coste in der Nähe von Aix-en-Provence ausgestellt sind, treten in einen Dialog mit dem natürlichen Licht des Südens und bieten eine poetische Resonanz auf die Landschaften, die viele Meister der Farbe inspiriert haben.
