Gorgo A partir du mythe des gorgones, Flora Détraz décline différentes figures de monstruosités féminines en travaillant sur les notions de déformation, défiguration et transformation dans le corps, l’espace et la voix. Elle questionne les représentations de la féminité. Avec Gorgo, le monstrueux oscille entre l’horreur du terrifiant et le risible du grotesque, convoquant par l’outrance des archétypes subversifs comiques comme le fou/la folle, le clown/la clowne ou le bouffon/la bouffone. Seule en scène dans un concert-performance d’apparente simplicité, l’artiste s’abandonne à la puissance subversive du rire. Fou rire, rire explosif, rire jaune, moqueur, forcé machiavélique, nerveux, gras… La femme-monstre entre dans un délire mystique sur une partition vocale foisonnante où s’ajoutent pleurs, cris, toux, rots et autre scories vocales… Une étape d’exploration -en solo- préalable à un projet ultérieur d’opéra-chambre. L'Ecluse L’Écluse est un ouvrage destiné à retenir les eaux d'une rivière, d'un canal, d'un étang, pour en faire monter, baisser ou en équilibrer le niveau. Sous forme de pièce chorégraphique, deux danseurs et un musicien live s’immergent dans la poétique, la symbolique et la fonction d’un lieu naviguant entre différentes polarités. Bastien Charmette en fait émerger un dialogue physique entre mécanique et charnel, où le rapport à l’autre devient nécessaire pour tenter de se détacher du sol, tenter une élévation. Gorgo Using the myth of the Gorgons as a starting point, Flora Détraz explores various figures of feminine monstrosity, working on notions of deformation, disfigurement and transformation in body, space and voice. In the form of a choreographic piece, two dancers and a live musician immerse themselves in the poetics, symbolism and function of a place navigating between different polarities. Bastien Charmette brings out a physical dialogue between the mechanical and the carnal, in which the relationship with the other becomes necessary in an attempt to detach oneself from the ground, to seek elevation. Gorgo Ausgehend vom Mythos der Gorgonen dekliniert Flora Détraz verschiedene Figuren weiblicher Monstrositäten und arbeitet mit den Begriffen der Deformation, Entstellung und Transformation im Körper, im Raum und in der Stimme. Sie hinterfragt die Darstellungen von Weiblichkeit. In Gorgo schwankt das Monströse zwischen dem Schrecken des Schreckens und dem Lächerlichen der Groteske und ruft durch Übertreibung subversiv-komische Archetypen wie den Verrückten, den Clown oder den Possenreißer auf. In einer scheinbar einfachen Konzertperformance gibt sich die Künstlerin allein der subversiven Kraft des Lachens hin. Verrücktes Lachen, explosives Lachen, gelbes, spöttisches, machiavellistisches, nervöses, fettes Lachen… Die Monsterfrau gerät in ein mystisches Delirium zu einer überbordenden Gesangspartitur, zu der Weinen, Schreien, Husten, Rülpsen und andere Stimmschlacken hinzukommen… Eine Solo-Erkundungsetappe, die einem späteren Kammeropernprojekt vorausgeht. Die Schleuse Die Schleuse ist ein Bauwerk, das dazu bestimmt ist, das Wasser eines Flusses, eines Kanals oder eines Teichs zu stauen, um den Wasserstand zu erhöhen, zu senken oder auszugleichen. In einem choreografischen Stück tauchen zwei Tänzer und ein Live-Musiker in die Poetik, die Symbolik und die Funktion eines Ortes ein, der zwischen verschiedenen Polaritäten navigiert. Bastien Charmette lässt einen physischen Dialog zwischen Mechanik und Körperlichkeit entstehen, in dem die Beziehung zum anderen notwendig wird, um sich vom Boden zu lösen und eine Erhebung zu versuchen. Gorgo Met de mythe van de Gorgons als uitgangspunt onderzoekt Flora Détraz verschillende vrouwelijke gedrochten, waarbij ze werkt aan noties van vervorming, misvorming en transformatie in het lichaam, de ruimte en de stem. Ze bevraagt representaties van vrouwelijkheid. In Gorgo schommelt het monsterlijke tussen het gruwelijke van het angstaanjagende en het lachwekkende van het groteske, waarbij subversieve komische archetypes als de gek/vrouw, de clown en de hansworst worden opgeroepen. Alleen op het podium, in een ogenschijnlijk eenvoudige concertvoorstelling, geeft de kunstenares zich over aan de subversieve kracht van de lach. In de vorm van een choreografisch stuk dompelen twee dansers en een live muzikant zich onder in de poëzie, symboliek en functie van een plek die laveert tussen verschillende polariteiten. Bastien Charmette brengt een fysieke dialoog tot stand tussen het mechanische en het vleselijke, waarin de relatie met anderen noodzakelijk wordt in een poging om zich los te maken van de grond, om te proberen er bovenuit te stijgen. Gorgo Utilizzando il mito delle Gorgoni come punto di partenza, Flora Détraz esplora varie mostruosità femminili, lavorando sulle nozioni di deformazione, sfigurazione e trasformazione nel corpo, nello spazio e nella voce. L'artista mette in discussione le rappresentazioni della femminilità. In Gorgo, il mostruoso oscilla tra l'orrore del terrificante e il ridicolo del grottesco, evocando archetipi comici sovversivi come il pazzo/donna, il clown e il buffone. Sola sul palco, in un concerto-performance di apparente semplicità, l'artista si abbandona al potere sovversivo della risata. Risata folle, risata esplosiva, risata gialla, risata beffarda, risata machiavellica forzata, risata nervosa, risata grassa… La donna-mostro si lancia in una frenesia mistica, con un'abbondante partitura vocale che comprende pianti, urla, tosse, rutti e altre scorie vocali… Una fase di esplorazione – come solista – prima di un successivo progetto di opera da camera. L'Ecluse Una chiusa è una struttura progettata per trattenere l'acqua di un fiume, di un canale o di uno stagno, per alzarne, abbassarne o equilibrarne il livello. Sotto forma di pezzo coreografico, due danzatori e un musicista dal vivo si immergono nella poetica, nel simbolismo e nella funzione di un luogo che naviga tra diverse polarità. Bastien Charmette fa emergere un dialogo fisico tra il meccanico e il carnale, in cui la relazione con gli altri diventa necessaria nel tentativo di staccarsi dal suolo, per cercare di elevarsi al di sopra di esso. I danzatori diventano un unico corpo, condividendo le loro forze e vulnerabilità, proponendo che "danzare insieme" è un modo per ri-incantarsi.
