Exposition – « La guerre de 1870-1871 et la retraite de l'armée de l'Est » – 01-04-2025 – La Cluse-et-Mijoux

À travers 10 panneaux installés autour du plan-relief du Château de Joux, l'exposition retrace l’histoire d’un conflit européen méconnu qui a unifié l’Allemagne, forgé l’identité suisse et fondé la République française. En pleine guerre, alors que l’armée française de l’Est fait retraite vers la Suisse pour y trouver refuge, elle livre son dernier combat au pied du Château. L'accès à l'exposition est inclus dans les billets de visite guidée ou de parcours découverte.

Through 10 panels set around the relief plan of the Château de Joux, the exhibition traces the history of a little-known European conflict that unified Germany, forged the Swiss identity and founded the French Republic. In the middle of the war, as the French army from the East retreated to Switzerland to seek refuge, it fought its last battle at the foot of the Château. Access to the exhibition is included in tickets for guided tours or discovery tours.

Anhand von 10 Tafeln, die um den Reliefplan des Château de Joux herum aufgestellt sind, erzählt die Ausstellung die Geschichte eines wenig bekannten europäischen Konflikts, der Deutschland einte, die Schweizer Identität schmiedete und die französische Republik gründete. Mitten im Krieg, als sich die französische Ostarmee in die Schweiz zurückzog, um dort Zuflucht zu finden, kämpfte sie am Fuße des Schlosses ihre letzte Schlacht. Der Zugang zur Ausstellung ist in den Tickets für eine geführte Besichtigung oder einen Entdeckungsparcours enthalten.

Met 10 panelen rond het reliëfplan van het Château de Joux schetst de tentoonstelling de geschiedenis van een weinig bekend Europees conflict dat Duitsland verenigde, de Zwitserse identiteit vormde en de Franse Republiek stichtte. Op het hoogtepunt van de oorlog, toen het Franse leger uit het oosten zich terugtrok naar Zwitserland om te vluchten, vocht het zijn laatste veldslag aan de voet van het kasteel. Toegang tot de tentoonstelling is inbegrepen bij tickets voor rondleidingen of ontdekkingstochten.

En plena guerra, cuando el ejército francés del Este se retiró a Suiza en busca de refugio, libró su última batalla a los pies del castillo. El acceso a la exposición está incluido en las entradas de las visitas guiadas o de descubrimiento.

Al culmine della guerra, quando l'esercito francese dell'Est si ritirò in Svizzera per cercare rifugio, combatté la sua ultima battaglia ai piedi del castello.
