Eclectica festival de musique de Segonzac : Malval – 12-07-2025 – Segonzac

Eglise de Segonzac le 12 juillet à 20h30. MalVal, c'est la rencontre d'Erika Maschke, hautboïste classique, avec Jonathan Sarrabia, Baptiste Lherbeil et Robin Mairot, musiciens traditionnels. Ni admis au conservatoire ni fidèle à la tradition, Malval emprunte à toutes les musiques et déforme, non sans joie, tous les motifs qui lui tapent à l’œil. Dans un même élan, le quatuor revêt de faux airs baroques et dompte les rythmes math ou postrock puisque adolescent des années 2000.

Segonzac church, July 12 at 8:30pm. MalVal is the encounter between classical oboist Erika Maschke and traditional musicians Jonathan Sarrabia, Baptiste Lherbeil and Robin Mairot. Neither admitted to the conservatory nor faithful to tradition, Malval borrows from all kinds of music and, not without joy, distorts any motif that strikes his fancy. In the same vein, the quartet dresses up in faux-Baroque airs and tames the math or post-rock rhythms of the teenage years of 2000.

MalVal ist die Begegnung von Erika Maschke, einer klassischen Oboistin, mit Jonathan Sarrabia, Baptiste Lherbeil und Robin Mairot, traditionellen Musikern. Malval, der weder ins Konservatorium aufgenommen wurde noch der Tradition treu geblieben ist, nimmt Anleihen bei allen Musikrichtungen und verdreht nicht ohne Freude alle Motive, die ihm ins Auge stechen. Das Quartett verkleidet sich in ein barockes Gewand und zähmt Math- oder Postrock-Rhythmen, da es sich um einen Teenager der 2000er Jahre handelt.

Malval is niet toegelaten tot het conservatorium en is ook niet trouw aan tradities. Hij leent van allerlei soorten muziek en vervormt, niet zonder plezier, elk motief dat hem opvalt. In dezelfde geest hult het kwartet zich in faux-barokke sferen en temt het de math- of postrockritmes van de tieners uit de jaren 2000.

Ni admitido en el conservatorio ni fiel a la tradición, Malval toma prestado de todo tipo de música y distorsiona, no sin alegría, cualquier motivo que se le antoje. En la misma línea, el cuarteto se viste con falsos aires barrocos y doma los ritmos matemáticos o post-rock de los adolescentes de los años 2000.
