C’est l’histoire de trois scientifiques du futur à la recherche des indiens d’Aubrac… Nous sommes en 2085, une équipe scientifique fantasque redécouvre les archives audiovisuelles de la “RCP Aubrac”. Films et enregistrements sonores, vestiges de la vie des burons et d’un monde paysan alors en passe de disparaître, voilà ces archives audiovisuelles des années 60 portées sur scène en musique, comme un héritage conjugué au présent, et au futur. Cette création hybride raconte une histoire de cowboys et d’indiens d’ici, un regard poétique sur ce qu’est la tradition, comment elle est regardée, conservée, transformée, réappropriée ou considérée comme perdue. The story of three scientists from the future in search of the Aubrac Indians? In the year 2085, a whimsical scientific team rediscovers the audiovisual archives of the ?RCP Aubrac? Films and sound recordings, relics of life in the burons and of a farming world on the verge of disappearing, these audiovisual archives from the 60s are brought to the stage with music, like a heritage combined with the present, and the future. This hybrid creation tells a story of cowboys and local Indians, a poetic look at what tradition is, how it is viewed, preserved, transformed, reappropriated or considered lost.
