Prieur Jacques – Meursault

Depuis 1868, le Domaine Jacques Prieur s'est constitué l'une des plus rares mosaïques de terroirs de la Bourgogne. Aujourd'hui, il est certainement le seul à posséder des vignes sur les plus grandes appellations à la fois de la Côte de Beaune et de la Côte de Nuits : Chambertin, Musigny, Clos Vougeot, Echézeaux, Corton, Meursault ou encore Montrachet. Cette incroyable collection est complétée par d'autres appellations prestigieuses ainsi que 3 Clos Monopoles.

The DJP works an amazing collection of great terroirs in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. It is the only domain to have vines in the five great mythical appellations: Chambertin, Musigny, Clos Vougeot, Corton Charlemagne and Montrachet.Martin Prieur, the grandson of the founder, has directed the domain for about fifteen years. He is assisted by Nadine Gublin his oenologist and Daniel Godefroy, head of cultivation. Daniel uses organic cultivation respectful of the environment. The work of the soil is special and is associated with plant health methods to produce healthy grapes and fine maturity. All the team works with a single objective: to produce original wines which are a reminder of the terroir where they were born.

Das Weingut bewirtschaftet eine erstaunliche Anzahl von großartigen Terroirs an der Côte de Beaune und Côte de Nuits. Es ist das einzige, dass Rebflächen in den fünf berühmten Appellationen besitzt, die da sind: Chambertin, Musigny, Clos Vougeot, Corton Charlemagne und Montrachet. Martin Prieur, der Enkel des Gründers, leitet dieses Weingut seit fünfzehn Jahren. Er wird dabei von der Önologin Nadine Gublin und Daniel Goderoy, seinem Weinbergverwalter, unterstützt. Letzterer bewirtschaftet die Rebflächen biologisch und trägt damit der Umwelt Sorge. Die Bodenbearbeitung steht im Vordergrund und wird mit anderen vorbeugenden Maßnahmen verbunden, um gesunde Trauben und eine schöne Reifung zu begünstigen. Das gesamte Team setzt sich für ein Ziel ein: einzigartige Weine zu produzieren, die an das Terroir erinnern, aus dem sie hervorgegangen sind.

Sinds 1868 heeft Domaine Jacques Prieur een van de zeldzaamste mozaïeken van terroirs in de Bourgogne opgebouwd.
