D’origine paysanne, la terre est et a toujours été pour Florence une source d’inspiration et de respect. Après une carrière dans un centre scientifique agronomique, elle s'est reconvertie. Désormais, céramiste, elle retrouve ce lien avec la Terre. Ses créations sont des pièces uniques utilitaires ou décoratives en faïence faites et peintes à la main. Florence organise des ateliers enfants et adultes hebdomadaires ainsi que pendant les vacances scolaires. Ateliers "découverte de la terre, je réalise mes pièces et je les décore": mettre les mains dans la terre, découvrir les sensations liées à la matière, apprendre différentes techniques pour libérer ta créativité… Elle peut se déplacer dans des structures pour dispenser ses ateliers.
