Originaire d'Atlanta, Jill exerce son art au coeur de la Provence où elle vit depuis 1980. Profondément attachée au paysage Aixois, Jill dessine et peint en plein air, entourée de cette nature lumineuse, faite de couleurs, de senteurs et de contrastes, qu'elle aime tant. Présentes dans de nombreuses collections privées aux Etats Unis et en France, les oeuvres de Jill font partie de plusieurs collections permanentes de musées américains et ont fait l'objet d'expositions à New York, Washington, Dallas, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Paris et Aix-en-Provence, entre autres. Soucieuse de transmettre sa passion pour l'art et la nature, Jill a été professeur de peinture à “American University Center of Provence” pendant 10 ans, et propose aujourd'hui des ateliers de peinture à l'huile et cours de pastel pour tous niveaux. Spécialiste de Cezanne, elle a été choisie pour accueillir la délégation du Smithsonian Institute (le plus grand musée au monde, situé à Washington) lors de leur visite à Aix pour le centenaire du décès de Cezanne en 2006. Invitée du show télévisé culte "Good Morning America" et souvent citée dans la presse, Jill a fait l'objet d'un article de fond dans l'édition avril-mai 2017 du Magazine International Artist. Le second tirage de son livre "Art, Soul & Destiny" est sorti en novembre 2017. Son atelier, où elle réside avec son mari sculpteur et leurs trois garçons, est situé dans la campagne Aixoise à 4km au sud du centre-ville.

An Atlanta native, Jill has lived in Aix since 1980, painting in the landscapes of Provence. Deeply connected to the Proveçal countryside, Jill draws her inspiration from the exceptional light, colors, and contrasts of her region of adoption. Jill's work is part of the permanent collections of several museums and important private collections in America and in France. She has exhibited in solo shows in New York, Washington D.C., Dallas, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, among other major American cities, as well as in Aix-en-Provence and Paris. Ever eager to share her passion for art and nature, Jill taught painting and drawing at the American University Center of Provence for 10 years and conducts painting workshops and pastel classes open to all levels. In 2006, Jill was the Cézanne specialist for the Smithsonian Institute (the largest museum in the world, based in Washington, D.C.) when they traveled to Aix for the 100th anniversary of Cézanne's death. Often quoted in the press, Jill appeared on "Good Morning America" and was the subject of a feature article in the April-May 2017 edition of International Artist Magazine. Jill's book, Art, Soul & Destiny, already in its second printing, recounts her exceptional journey as an artist. Jill's studio is in the countryside 4km south of Aix-en-Provence, where she lives in a Provençal home with her sculptor husband and their three sons.

Jill stammt aus Atlanta und übt ihre Kunst im Herzen der Provence aus, wo sie seit 1980 lebt. Jill ist tief mit der Landschaft von Aixois verbunden. Als Cezanne-Spezialistin wurde sie ausgewählt, die Delegation des Smithsonian Institute (das größte Museum der Welt in Washington) bei ihrem Besuch in Aix anlässlich des hundertsten Todestages von Cezanne im Jahr 2006 zu empfangen.
