De la Somme à la Luce – Fouilloy

Le circuit en boucle est assez vallonné au départ la vallée de Somme pour rejoindre la vallée de la Luce. Sur le parcours, passage à gué de la Luce, petit sentier en zone marécageuse, sentier sinueux et vallonné en single et des chemins de champs. De nombreux sites touristiques vous offre la possibilité de faire une pause : Cimetières militaires de la première guerre mondiale (Crucifix Corner – Hangard Wood), Musée Franco-Australien à Villers Bretonneux, le Mémorial Australien et le centre d'interprétation "Sir John Monash" à Fouilloy.

The loop trail is fairly hilly as it starts in the Somme Valley and heads toward the Luce Valley. Along the route, you’ll cross the Luce River, follow a narrow trail through marshy terrain, and ride along winding, hilly singletrack and farm roads. Numerous tourist sites offer you the chance to take a break: World War I military cemeteries (Crucifix Corner – Hangard Wood), the Franco-Australian Museum in Villers-Bretonneux, the Australian Memorial, and the “Sir John Monash” Interpretation Center in Fouilloy.

Die Rundstrecke verläuft zu Beginn im Somme-Tal recht hügelig und führt bis ins Luce-Tal. Auf der Strecke führt der Weg am Fluss Luce vorbei, über einen schmalen Pfad durch sumpfiges Gelände, einen kurvenreichen und hügeligen Singletrail sowie Feldwege. Zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten bieten Ihnen die Möglichkeit, eine Pause einzulegen: Soldatenfriedhöfe aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg (Crucifix Corner – Hangard Wood), das französisch-australische Museum in Villers-Bretonneux, das australische Denkmal und das Informationszentrum „Sir John Monash“ in Fouilloy.

De rondwandeling is in het begin vrij heuvelachtig en loopt van de vallei van de Somme naar de vallei van de Luce.
