Circuit rando C05 : Vers le château de Schirmeck – Schirmeck

Le château de Schirmeck fut construit au début du Xllle siècle et fut détruit par les Suédois en 1633 pendant la Guerre de Trente Ans. En 1705, les Français songèrent à le reconstruire, mais abandonnèrent le projet et, en 1778, on édifia le clocher de l'église avec les matériaux du château… Ce circuit vous mènera vers le site de cette ancienne fortification, d'où vous profiterez d'un magnifique panorama sur Schirmeck et ses alentours.

Schirmeck castle was built in the early 13th century and destroyed by the Swedes in 1633 during the Thirty Years' War. In 1705, the French considered rebuilding it, but abandoned the project and, in 1778, the church tower was built from the castle's materials… This tour takes you to the site of this former fortification, from where you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of Schirmeck and the surrounding area.

Die Burg Schirmeck wurde Anfang des 13. Jahrhunderts erbaut und 1633 während des Dreißigjährigen Krieges von den Schweden zerstört. Im Jahr 1705 dachten die Franzosen über einen Wiederaufbau nach, gaben das Projekt jedoch auf und 1778 wurde der Kirchturm aus dem Material der Burg errichtet… Dieser Rundgang führt Sie zum Standort dieser ehemaligen Festung, von wo aus Sie einen herrlichen Panoramablick auf Schirmeck und seine Umgebung genießen können.

Kasteel Schirmeck werd in het begin van de 13e eeuw gebouwd en in 1633 tijdens de Dertigjarige Oorlog door de Zweden verwoest. In 1705 overwogen de Fransen om het te herbouwen, maar ze lieten het project varen en in 1778 werd de kerktoren gebouwd met materialen van het kasteel… Deze tour brengt je naar de plek van deze voormalige versterking, vanwaar je kunt genieten van een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht over Schirmeck en de omgeving.
