Tavaux : ville industrielle liée à l’usine Solvay elle conserve des quartiers résidentiels de type “cité ouvrière” comme sa voisine Damparis . On y trouve l’ancien Centre Social de l’entreprise Solvay désormais médiathèque du Grand Dole et Centre de loisirs et une ancienne usine de panification (regroupement de boulangers locaux). Les deux villes sont séparées par le canal du Rhône au Rhin percé entre 1784 et 1802 ce qui détourna le cours de la rivière La Blaine. Vous pourrez apercevoir le château de Parthey , ancienne forteresse médiévale transformée au 19ème siècle en demeure de plaisance. Les quartiers de Beauregard et Belvoye à Damparis , abritent un ancien moulin datant de 1585 une ancienne ferme monastique fondée par Dom Parisius vers 1653 (annexe du couvent des carmélites de Dole) et l’usine Kholer (Anciennement Jacob-Delafon).
