Mentionnée dès le XIIe siècle, Coarraze est l’une des douze baronnies du Béarn : son territoire englobe à l’origine Labatmale et Saint-Vincent. Autour de son château s’est développé un grand bourg à la fois paysan et ouvrier. Il s’impose au XIXe et XXe siècles l’un des principaux centres industriels du Pays de Nay, autour du textile et du bois. Jalonné par le patrimoine prestigieux de l’église et du château, ce parcours retrace l’histoire de ces différentes activités, du travail à domicile aux grandes usines. First mentioned in the 12th century, Coarraze is one of the twelve baronies of Béarn: its territory originally encompassed Labatmale and Saint-Vincent. Around its castle grew a large village, both farming and working-class. In the 19th and 20th centuries, it became one of the main industrial centres of the Pays de Nay, based around the textile and timber industries. Punctuated by the prestigious heritage of the church and the château, this trail traces the history of these different activities, from home-based work to large-scale factories. Coarraze wurde bereits im 12. Jahrhundert erwähnt und ist eine der zwölf Baronien des Béarn: Ihr Gebiet umfasste ursprünglich Labatmale und Saint-Vincent. Um die Burg herum entwickelte sich ein großer Marktflecken, der sowohl von Bauern als auch von Arbeitern bewohnt wurde. Im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert entwickelte sich der Ort zu einem der wichtigsten Industriezentren des Pays de Nay, in dem Textilien und Holz verarbeitet wurden. Dieser Rundgang, der durch das prestigeträchtige Erbe der Kirche und des Schlosses gekennzeichnet ist, zeigt die Geschichte dieser verschiedenen Aktivitäten, von der Heimarbeit bis hin zu den großen Fabriken. Deze route, gemarkeerd door het prestigieuze erfgoed van de kerk en het kasteel, traceert de geschiedenis van deze verschillende activiteiten, van thuiswerk tot grote fabrieken. Alrededor de su castillo creció un gran pueblo, tanto agrícola como obrero. En los siglos XIX y XX, se convirtió en uno de los principales centros industriales del País de Nay, en torno a las industrias textil y maderera. Con el prestigioso patrimonio de la iglesia y el castillo como telón de fondo, esta ruta recorre la historia de estas diferentes actividades, desde el trabajo a domicilio hasta las grandes fábricas. Intorno al suo castello si sviluppò un grande villaggio, sia di contadini che di lavoratori. Nel XIX e XX secolo, divenne uno dei principali centri industriali del Pays de Nay, intorno all'industria tessile e del legno. Punteggiato dal prestigioso patrimonio della chiesa e del castello, l'itinerario ripercorre la storia di queste diverse attività, dal lavoro a domicilio alle grandi fabbriche.
