La station d’épuration a désormais une capacité portée à 11 000 équivalents habitants et est doté de nouvelles technologies avec notamment une nouvelle file de traitement par boues activées à aération prolongée. Derrière ce jargon technique le souhait de VILIVIA est de communiquer au grand public une réalité concrète : une meilleure élimination des polluants biologiques, du phosphore et des graisses tout en s’inscrivant résolument dans une perspective d’avenir avec l’anticipation du risque inondation. The aim of the project was to anticipate population growth and meet the environmental challenges facing the commune. The plant now has a capacity of 11,000 population equivalents, and is equipped with new technologies including a new activated sludge treatment line with prolonged aeration. Behind all this technical jargon, VILIVIA?s aim is to communicate a concrete reality to the general public: better elimination of biological pollutants, phosphorus and grease, while resolutely looking to the future by anticipating the risk of flooding. The tour explains industrial and biological processes in simple terms, and is totally child-friendly.
