Autour de la collection du Frac Normandie et d’artistes invite´·es, l’exposition In the Mood… repose sur l’ide´e d’un «de´file´» d’œuvres qui insufflent une pre´sence certaine dans la de´ambulation. Des jeux de jambes multiples scandent ainsi avec légèreté une partie de l’exposition, comme un clin d’œil à la célèbre marque de collants et son spot publicitaire «Toutes des Marylin». D’autres ambiances aussi glamour livrent une vision plus désenchantée du corps et de ses artifices. Le titre «In the Mood…» (dans l’ambiance…) donne le ton a` cette exposition rythme´e au swing des anne´es 40 et d’entre´es cine´matographiques. Bringing together works from the Frac Normandie collection and those of guest artists, the exhibition In the Mood… is based on the idea of a "procession" of works that breathe a certain presence into the stroll. In addition to the light-hearted presence that pervades part of the exhibition, marked by multiple sets of legs – a nod to the Dim "All of Marilyn?s" pantyhose advertising of the '70s – the glamorous yet disquieting atmospheres reveal a disenchanted vision of the body and its artifices. The title track "In the Mood…" (sets the tone for this moving exhibition, with its 40s swing and diverse cinematic entries. Die Ausstellung In the Mood… auf der Idee einer "Reihe" von Werken, die eine gewisse Präsenz in die Ambulanz einfließen lassen. Mehrere Beinspiele skandieren mit Leichtigkeit einen Teil der Ausstellung, wie eine Anspielung auf die berühmte Strumpfhosenmarke und ihren Werbespot "Toutes des Marylin". Andere, ebenso glamouröse Umgebungen vermitteln eine eher ernüchternde Sicht auf den Körper und seine Künstlichkeit.
