Pouvoir monter à poney nécessite pour l’enfant un certain nombre de tâches à accomplir vis-à-vis de l’animal : il apprend à le soigner, le brosser, l’emmener en promenade, lui donner à manger, le respecter, lui parler. A partire dai 2 anni, i cavalieri in erba possono imparare a cavalcare con una gamma di Shetland appositamente adattati. Venite a scoprire il mondo educativo e incantevole dei pony con l'accompagnamento della musica. Il principio del baby pony non è una vera e propria lezione di equitazione, ma piuttosto sessioni di contatto con l'animale ed esercizi psicomotori. I risultati sono evidenti: equilibrio, fiducia in se stessi, senso di responsabilità e socializzazione. Per poter cavalcare un pony, i bambini devono svolgere una serie di compiti in relazione all'animale: imparano a prendersene cura, a spazzolarlo, a portarlo a spasso, a dargli da mangiare, a rispettarlo e a parlargli.
