The Iroise Marine Natural Park, an area of 3500 km², is rich in an exceptional natural and cultural heritage. Its role is to raise awareness and educate everyone, and aims at the knowledge and protection of the marine environment as well as the sustainable development of activities. To discover marine life when the sea retreats, the Iroise Marine Natural Park offers free activities on Tristan Island in Douarnenez. Provided by Coralie, the park's Nature Ambassador, in groups of 5 to 15 people maximum; these activities invite young and old alike to meet the fauna and flora that appear at low tide, thus constituting small curiosities for whom the life of the foreshore is a mystery.
